“Average, not worth waiting in line for!”
Reviewed November 25, 2012 via mobile

4 of us decided to eat here only because there was NOT a line, around noon-ish for the Thanksgiving Buffet. The turkey, ham, primerib, salad-bar were all great but all the traditional "fixings" seemed to be instant...blah. The A/C was blowing, made food cold... typical Buffet! . Server was slow to bring drinks and utinsils, she was very nice but she seemed a little flustered. At ~$22 bucks each I was disappointed, but it sure beat slaving in the kitchen, cleaning and doing dishes this Thanksgiving!

“Get What You Pay For”
Reviewed November 24, 2012

Been here twice. Once for dinner and most recently for breakfast. During both visits there was a long line that wrapped around to the escalator. Price isn't bad.

For breakfast, the buffet provided cereal, oatmeal, fruit, bread, and an assortment of meat. Highlight of the meal was the ham. Nice and juicy! (Usually I dont like ham because they tend to be dry.) Tried the oatmeal. It wasn't anything special. The bagel was your typical bagel. However the cream cheese was pretty tough to even scoop out, let alone spread.

As for the service (yes there is service at a buffet!), it was slow. I was nearly done with my first plate before the waitress appeared to ask us what we like to drink.

Would I come here again? Probably not. But if they gave me a voucher for a free meal, sure I'll use it ;)

“Good Food”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

We ate here with 3 other couples and had a good time. The food was very good and the pricing was reasonable. I think the tipping thing was ridiculous since they added the tip due to the number of people. Next time, we will request two tables so we can add our tip accordingly. After all, this is a buffet and wait stuff doesn't do that much.

“Decent and varied food”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Good variety of salads, entrees and desserts. Most wait staff were great -- checking on us frequently and clearing dishes -- one was useless. Decent price, and if you go to the show at the Golden Nugget, you can buy a package where the buffet is only $10, good for a week.

“Great Buffet - go for it”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Get upstairs at the Golden Nugget and find a fabulous buffet for just over $20 pp. There is fantastic choice, great seafood and great value, which you don't always find in Vegas. The maitre d' told me they do some 2,000 meals a day, so you just know its all going to be fresh.
