McMullan's Irish Pub is the go to Irish pub in Las Vegas. Atmosphere is authentic as you can get in Las Vegas and the food is great too. Corned beef was tasty and plentiful and the Guinnesses (or is it Guinni?) were correctly poured. Always one of our favorite Vegas stops.

The drink is good, the food is brilliant and the craic is mighty - what else would you want in a great bar? Oh yes, there is also fantastic entertainment ranging from a wonderful band, great singers, and lots of great personalities to help while away those precious minutes relaxing in McMullans.
McMullans is the perfect venue anyone could find for meeting new friends and relaxing with old ones. Tis a grand place altogether.
Yip - I adore McMullans!

From the outside - industrial strip mall. Inside - 200 year old local pub. The place is split up into 9 or 10 rooms, plus a patio, only one room with smoking, and more surprisingly, only one with gambling machines. No matter how busy, or how lively the entertainment, you can always find a spot quiet enough for conversation. BEER! Lovely selection on tap (17+) and another 30+ by the bottle. When you ask for something "tall, dark and lovely", you get a list; not just a Guinness. The spirits selection is equally broad. Everything at a reasonable price. $6 a pint for the good stuff. For those who know and love it - they have Murphy's Stout! FOOD! We ate there for 5 days, at least one meal a day, and never had anything less than excellent. Everything they do has a special touch, from corned beef and cabbage served in the broth like it should be, to insane portions of "Irish Nachos" for $7 during happy hour (it's a full meal for 3 or 4 people). Salads (goat cheese, onion crisps, blackened chicken), pub standards (fish and chips (OMG the fish and chips!) meat loaf, Irish pies), burgers (the best turkey burger I've ever had), steaks and pasta. The first glance at the menu had me thinking, "Great, another place with a huge, scattered menu, no focus, nothing is going to be good." I was happily proven wrong. While the traditional pub fare was what really shone, every plate we ate was well prepared and had a little twist that made it special. Roasted shallot and chipotle sauce. Onion crisps on the salad. Creole mustard salad dressing. Slabs o' fresh brown bread. Staff - Brian and Lynn have an interesting complement of friendly and efficient staff. Most of them seem to be lifers, a rarity in the hospitality industry. Some are slightly insane (Susan), others have a great sense of humour (Cassie), every one we met, I'd happily have in my family. If you do happen to have Susan serving you, feel free to ask for a translator. It IS English she is speaking, but not many can listen as fast as she speaks! If you are staying at the Orleans Casino, I can't think of a reason not to cross the street for a meal or two. McMullan's far exceeds anything the casino itself has to offer. From the strip, it's about a 30 minute walk straight west from New York, New York or the Excalibur.

It was nice to find an authentic-feeling Irish pub near The Orleans, where I was staying. I had the shepherd's pie and there were plenty of other very authentic Irish dishes on the menu.

Probably as authentic as you can get without being in Ireland. The owner's Irish accent is your first hint that this is going to be authentic. I was told that some of the furnishings actually came from a family members pub back in Ireland, was dismantled and shipped over and reassembled. The food and beer was excellent. We ate during happy hour and ordered appetizers all around calling it our meal. $10/person and we left food on the table. Portions are hearty and the beer was great. Excellent selection of entries. Staff was wonderful, they were run off their feet due to the curling across the street in the Orleans arena, but kept their great attitude the entire time. BEST COFFEE we had in LV. They have their own grinder and it shows. We ate here twice and will certainly visit again.
