Real authentic Mexican food. If your looking for something off the strip and want a family style restaurant, this is the place to be!

On a Thursday night at 7:30 this place was hopping, but that didn’t prevent us from being greeted and seated immediately.
Our party was seated at a large table right next to the ‘one-man band’ who was playing keyboard and singing, accompanied by instrumental recordings of many hit songs from yesteryear. He did a good job as was evidenced by the patrons coming up and tipping him.
The orders from our table varied but everyone was thoroughly pleased with the food they ordered. My chile rellenos were delicious. The rice and beans weren’t bad, but were nothing to write home about, so to speak.
The salsa, though tasty, left something to be desired. Perhaps it didn’t have enough cilantro, I’m not sure. The chips were the thickest and most brittle I’ve ever been served. The chips and salsa were also accompanied by a bowl of warm beans for dipping.
The service was more than sufficient though falling short of excellent. The ambiance was authentic central Mexico from beginning to end.

Recommend mexican restaurant, situated off the strip. Great food and good service. I had a mixed food platter with different flavours. Good sangria ! Be wary, portion sizes are huge !! Entrees are the size of mains !! Recommend, great atmosphere with larger groups. Worth the trip off the strip..

When you see a full parking lot, it is always an optimistically good sign. We were so happy that we tried it out. The food and value is spot on, and the atmosphere makes you feel like one of the locals. There was so much food that it was hard to finish, but of course we ate it all! Definately worth venturing off the strip for!
