Description: GANDHI CUISINETHE PREMIER LAS VEGAS INDIAN RESTAURANTAs the premier Las Vegas Indian restaurant, Gandhi stands alone in its attention to the delights of the senses. The rich aromas swirl through a space lavishly assembled and painstakingly perfected from the riches of the mother country. The taste of bawdy spices and complex flavors beckons the tongues of all people, from the most discriminating palate to the uninitiated and inexperienced with regards to the sheer pleasures of traditional Indian food. The rich culture of India has found a home in the heart of Las Vegas, and the concept of a Las Vegas Indian restaurant will never be the same. We are proud to serve Las Vegas Locals & Tourists as their only destination for Authentic & Traditional Indian food since 1993.

This place is quite attractive. Really high ceilings add to the ambiance. The tables are too close together especially considering the number of guests. The service is not very friendly which we found unusual in an Indian restaurant. The food is pricey but flavorful. We had the Bengin Bartha (eggplant stew) and the Chicken Jalfrezi, with rice and naan. I wouldn't return. Too many other restaurants in the neighborhood who would appreciate our business.

Getting very tired of the hectic "Strip" places...we glanced through a local magazine which listed this off-strip (but close) place as a "local favorite". So glad we tried it! Service was great and the food was terrific! Their BUTTER/MAKHANWALA CHICKEN is now my favorite Indian dish EVER and whenever we're back in town, this place will be a MUST for us. My only negative comments are that, when we were there, they had a ladder up in the restaurant and staff was discussing/repairing a light bulb or fixture. This could have easily waited until the restaurant was closed. We actually did think it was closed at first. Also...staff was cleaning/spraying down the buffet area (no food in it though) which seemed inappropriate as well. Kind of ruined the ambiance a bit, which is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5.

Woke up hungry and was looking for something good and quick. Walked into great buffet spread. There was a large variety available and was able to sample many Dishes. Everything was very tasty and well worth the 12 bucks.
It was a relaxing atmosphere and was able to get in and out without a hassle. Would eat there again if given the opportunity.
