This was our first time here.
We went here about a week ago to have dinner after our wedding. It was an early dinner 5:30pm. We called in advance to make a reservation for 19 people at an early time. We get to the restaurant and our group was split in two tables the group ended up being 16 ppl. I could understand if we did not give the restaurant notice in time for a large group. But I was upset the restaurant could have told us on the phone your group will be split. If I would have known this, we would have gone somewhere else for dinner. My husband and I wanted to celebrate our wedding dinner with our new family and friends all together. This was the biggest disappointment for our day. The food was good but I do recommend if you are requesting a reservation for a large group find out if you will be split up or together.

We were hungry when we left the airport very close so didn't have to look far for a yummy place to eat. The food was delicious, and the staff was very accommodating! Highly recommend this establishment.

Highly recommended by a 40-year resident of Las Vegas, we joined him there on Monday night for dinner. The ambience was wonderful, intimate, inviting, warm it had the throwback feeling of an earlier time in the city--since it's a family operated restaurant with roots back to 1949, it does have a clue as how it should be.

The food was wonderful, an extensive menu made selection difficult but we sampled a variety including escargot, mussels, and parmigiana capresse for appetizers, chicken Marsala, the grilled handmade sausage roassted with peppers and the salmon, for entrees and finishing with Cannoli. Everything was perfectly prepared, service excellent and the check surprisingly low for Vegas.

But this was Monday night, a special open mike night when local musicians and entertainers drop in to perform. The show has a regular emcee that is talented and had a tough job working in all those that showed up to perform. We stayed three hours the place was still packed, but I had to work in the morning!

The Bootlegger is located about three miles south of Mandalay Bay.
It is open 24/7
If you go between midnight and 6 am their menu is half price and great value
If you go for dinner every night from 8-10 pm they have live music.
Took a friend there from out of town
He had the rib eye...which he said was AMAZING
I had the lasagna...FANTASTIC
Also had an antipasto and mozzerella and tomato..
Just the best

Bootleggers is a great restaurant with a lot of atmosphere. The service was excellent and the food was beyond delicious. It is a bit off the beaten path, but worth the ride. They have delicious Italian food... We were there early on a Friday evening and they just had piano music, but have been there when they have talent nights.. best bet to call & find out... I
