I heard about this place on a Vegas website in 2013. I decided to try it and it is now one of the places I go on every trip. The food is incredible. The service is great. It's off the Strip and I was lucky to find this jewel.

We arrived at 11:30am for lunch and there were already a few people waiting, though the restaurant is large so not a problem to be seated at all. There was a buffet lunch, which some at our table of 6 tried, but I ordered some dishes off the menu and they were amazing and stood out vs. standard Thai. If you're looking for great Thai off the strip, this place (which has been well reviewed and Zagat recognized for years) is terrific. Crunchy duck was awesome.

Very extensive menu of wonderful Thai food - many old favorites and lots of "Chef's Selections." The food is all very fresh and tasty, and I had the Drunken Noodle Prawns - excellent.

But, something you will not expect from this unassuming, understated restaurant located in a somewhat economically depressed strip mall not far off of the northern end of the strip is an incomparable wine list rivaling that of many pricey, fancy steakhouses. I have never seen a wine list with so many choices of quality German wines (Riesling pairs very well with Thai food). Page after page, broken down by classification (Kabinett, Spatlese, Auslese, etc.) and, within classification, by region (Rhein, Mosel, Nahe, Rheinhessen, etc.). You just won't believe it. Why do I rave about it? Because I love German Qualitatswein, and the vast majority of restaurants, no matter how fancy their cellars, ignore the German wines. Kudos to Lotus of Siam.

The friendliness of the service is also outstanding. They will cheerfully call a taxicab for you to get you back to your hotel from their off-strip location. Estimated cab fare - $10 back to the Wynn/Encore for us.

This place really is worth the trip. Book reservation by e-mail at least four days in advance because they fill up quick - especially on the weekend. No need to get dressed up, this place is casual.

This is the best Thai food that I have ever eaten and I have been to Thailand. Highly recommend this to anyone in Vegas!! The service was quick and you can get in and out in a hurry but make sure to reserve a table because you will be waiting if you don't!!

You must book ahead for this very popular restaurant or you will have quite a wait. It is off the main drag so you will need to drive or cab to the location but the inconvenience is worth it as the food is great and the prices are really reasonable. We went with a group of 5 and ordered a variety of dishes to share both meat and vegetable and only spent $25 dollars each with tax and tip!
