My wife and I saw them on Top Chief and had to try them out. We were very impressed with the food and the service. The whole staff was attentive and made sure we had a great experience. It is off of the strip and the prices are right.

If you love good Thai food, this is a must visit.

If you love flavorful Thai, then this restaurant is for you. The menu has many northern, as well as southern dishes. The ingredients are fresh and of high quality. Extensive wine selection. We will add this restaurant to our "go back" list.

We went there because we'd seen the restaurant in an episode of Top Chef, and it didn't disappoint. The food was excellent, and it was great to try some dishes one doesn't ordinarily see on a Thai-restaurant menu. They are very busy (we had a reservation, luckily), and service can be a bit scattered, but it was friendly and welcoming, too. We had plenty of food and 2 bottles of wine and ended up paying about $30 each total--a great deal!

We came across this restaurant online about an hour before we hoped to eat dinner on our last night in Vegas. Because their reservations were full for the evening, we showed up about fifteen minutes before opening in hopes of getting one of the unreserved tables they hold open for walk-ins. There were already three other couples there waiting - that's how good this place is. We have not been to Thailand, but are from Seattle & have eaten at some great authentic Thai restaurants. Lotus of Siam may have ruined us on Thai food :) We highly recommend the sea bass kee mao and thum ka noon (off the Northern Thailand portion of the menu). The nam kao tod (it is a spicy dish) blew our minds. Highly highly recommend. The prices are extremely reasonable (our total bill for two was under $50 and we were stuffed) and the staff is really friendly. Even if the prices were twice as high and the service was awful we would still eat here every time we were in Vegas, no hesitation.

If you like Thai cuisine at all, you won't do much better than this place. Fresh ingredients, distinctive flavors and textures - so good. I particularly liked the Kang Hung Lay, a spicy and complex curry that would be equally at home on an Indian menu. My only regret is that I didn't get to try more. LOS's menu is enormous and kind of intimidating, but everything looked delicious, and all the diners seemed sated and happy - a good sign. A bonus were the wonderful bartenders, who served me complimentary samples of various high-end sakes.

After seeing all the reviews bemoaning the location, I expected something pretty sketchy, but the area isn't that bad. Sure, it's a trashy-looking strip mall, nothing like the gleaming excesses of the strip - but that's part of the charm. It didn't feel the least bit scary or unsafe - I walked back to my hotel (a quick jaunt to the north end of the strip). Overall, a great eating experience.
