A wonderful steak and great selection of sides in the menu.Seems to match in well with the rest of the four seasons mantra of peaceful surroundings and great service.

I'm not a big steak eater but I frequently host (and get dragged) to business dinners where everyone loves to go to steak houses. CP's, buried in the bowels of the FourSeasons/Mandalay Bay was a great dining experience. Everything was exceptional -- from the oysters to foie gras to steak tartare to the lamb chop that I had as an entree. Each was prepared to perfection and the service was spot on (consistently filling my water glass before it less than halfway) and pouring wine without ever needing to request. This kept the focus on the conversation and is exactly how I expect a business dinner to be.

I'm sure dinner for 7 cost more than the price of my first car, but we weren't looking for value. A good time was had by all and it impressed the right people, so it hit the mark.

During our recent visit to Las Vegas, we visited Charlie Palmer Steak twice. One for drinks and appetizers (later in the night) and one for a more regular meal.

Both instances were pleasant. The restaurant is comfortably dark. It has plenty of energy and people, yet is outside of the normal (edge of the casino) experience that creates noise and overstimulation.

The restaurant is inside the Four Seasons, which is connected to Mandalay, yet out of the casino. It's quiet and relaxing - yet has serious food.

We ate at the bar during our first visit. I loved the sliders and had a couple of innovative drinks offered by the very competent barkeep.

This is a great place to visit if you're staying at the Four Seasons or Mandalay - or if you're looking for good food without the casino chatter.

business dinner last night, atmosphere and service were excellent. everything is ala carte so a table of 8 wasn't cheap. we picked "low" priced bottles of wine, which were very good, but probably 4 times what they cost in store. Steaks were well cooked as were the sides. I really didn't have an issue with anything as the steaks were priced comparable to most high end steak houses, but their wine menu was stupid expensive. I dine out with clients all over and I was shocked they didn't have a few "bargain" bottles to help control the tab.

The price was a little high & the service wasn't the greatest but the food was excellent. The waiter seemed to perpetually struggle with our drink orders but did recommend a tasty Napa Cabernet. They were also more than ready to hustle us out as the clock ticked toward the 10:30 closing time.

But the food was well worth what the service lacked. The 10oz filet was melt in your mouth delicious and perfectly cooked to order at medium. Maryland crab wasn't bad considering the distance it flew to be served "fresh." The sides were excellent complements to the meal - especially the parmesan potatoes gratin & the garlicky broccolini. Overall a good experience.
