We chose to do the 4 course tasting menu. The cost was 115. It took about an hour and half. Ths menu even with out the tasting menu is reasonable between 30-60. The food is good and unique. Shellfish risotto, rootbeer floats, caviar parfait are some of the items on the menu. Ths atmosphere outs relaxed casual. The wait staff is very friendly.

Celebrated my wedding anniversary at Michael Mina's this past weekend with friends. Although service was great, food at best was just ok. Portion sizes were definitely not worth the $400++ cost of the dinner. If you go - definitely eat somewhere else beforehand otherwise you'll be disappointed like we were.

Took in a late dinner following a Vegas Show on a Friday night in March. We were warmly greeted by the maitre d' and waiter. Our group ordered everything from main dishes to simply appetizers. We were not disappointed; the sole and the tuna dishes were perfection. We ordered a pinot noir from California with assistance of the wine steward; his recommendation did not disappoint. Our evening was complete with some sweets and coffee. I had often heard that Michael Minna was a first class restaurant; he lived up the billing.

When my hubby and I took a stroll through the Bellagio gardens and checked out the menu, we decided to make reservations for the next evening. We had six p.m. reservations, arrived a few minutes early, and were seated promptly by a friendly gentleman. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and gracious. We loved the tuna tartar, the lobster pot pie, the sole, and the candy bar dessert. The warm goat cheese salad was good, and so were the chocolate cookies. Although it was a lovely presentation, the root beer float wasn't that great.

The food was phenomenal! The service started out that way too, but it went downhill once a table of nine came our way. The nine top was a big production, rolling out a huge circular table topper to accommodate the party, all within one foot of our table. Setting the table was an event with many gentlemen working hard to make the table look perfect for the guests. I guess the biggest issue was that once the table was up, I had a rear end in my face all night, with servers turning sideways to squeeze by our table. Awkward! Once the party of nine actually arrived, we got very little attention, and the pacing was super slow. The table was quite loud as well. Our server was friendly and apologetic. We really liked him.

When we got our bill, we were actually surprised that it was not more, even with the $85 lobster pot pie. For a fine dining establishment, we feel that we got a good value. If we come back on our next trip, I would request to be seated away from a large party to truly enjoy the entire dining experience. I would have rated it five stars otherwise. Enjoy your dinner at Michael Mina! We may be checking out his other restaurant near us in Dana Point, CA.
