“If you only eat out in one restaurant it must be here!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2013

What they don't tell you: every woman gets a rose before being seated which goes on the table in a vase (they wrap it for you to take home so it doesn't drip on you), the waiters are on your side (not trying to sell the most expensive thing on the menu), the drinks are half price compared to the Strip restaurants, the location is incredible---walk right outside to the pedestrian only Freemont Street see the world's largest screen which lights up on the 1/2 hour, the food is outstanding and a full meal is served with every entree (you won't have room for that appetizer you might crave--save it for another time!) To top it off, it's a bargain for fantastically prepared food. You won't get a better meal in Vegas...that will fill you up! The decor is a throw back in time but totally comfortable---not in the least bit divey. Our most memorable dining experience in Las Vegas.

“Morton's but Half-Price, Good Steak, Great Everything Else”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 14, 2013

I have been going to Vegas since 1986, and I used to ask the cab drivers where they would take their visiting family for dinner....Hugo's kept coming up as an answer so I tried it. Now, I've been to Hugo's at least 8 times. It's like a half-priced Mortons for me, but with a unique location that is half part a joke (in the kinda-lame 4 Queens hotel), and half part very cool (old Mob hangout). I could write forever but I recommend the following: crab-stuffed steak; the fresh salad, hand-made at your table; and the slow-cook coffee and banana's foster for desert. Surprising wine selection (Schafer Hillside Select is my favorite there but its spendy). You can get a cab on your departure on the back-side of the 4 Queens hotel.

“This is a very romantic hidden gem in the old wine cellar of the Four Queens resort and casino!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 13, 2013 via mobile

My wife and I usually stay and play on the strip @ Bellagio and Planet Hollywood, but find ourselves making the journey to Fremont st. to enjoy a romantic dinner at Hugo's! Great food and a great value! This is a must for anyone wanting to treat their wife out to a romantic dinner!

“Hugo's Cellar: They aim to please!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 11, 2013

From the moment one enters and the long stemmed red rose is presented to the ladies, the service is impeccable, the food is well prepared and delicious and the experience leaves one looking forward to the next visit. The salad is prepared at the table to suit individual tastes, the sorbet to cleanse the palette is a nice touch and main courses are appealing to all the senses. The complimentary chocolate dipped fruits make dessert unnecessary but if ordered does not disappoint. Elegant, well done and not to be missed on a visit to Las Vegas. Have gone there for 25 years and the consistency is admirable.

“What A Restaurant!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 10, 2013

By far the best restaurant I've been to. Food was excellent, and we had a group of 11 (all managers from an out of state restaurant and hotel) and absolutely everyone loved their dinner choice and the complete presentation of Hugo's. The dinner includes so much - even fabulous deserts. Jon - our "cork dork" was the highlight. He chose the perfect wine and entertained us all with his wit and charm. The entire staff from the minute we entered - (all ladies received a rose on the way to our table) - were extremely nice, helpful and a joy to talk with. We can't say enough about Hugo's! Thank you all for the best dining experience in Vegas.
