Owner description: Rock of Ages, the "insanely fun" (Time Out New York) worldwide smash hit musical featuring a raucous mix of 28 eyebrow-scorching tunes, is now rocking nightly at The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. Set in L.A.'s infamous Sunset Strip in 1987, Rock of Ages tells the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit and Sherrie, a small-town girl, both in L.A. to chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love. Rock of Ages takes you back to the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair! This hilarious, feel-good love story celebrates the great rock songs of the '80s including such sing-out-loud songs as "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "I Wanna Know What Love Is", "Here I Go Again", "Don't Stop Believin'", and more. Parental Advisory Rock of Ages is all about having a good time but you should be aware that some of the costumes, dancing and language might not be appropriate for kids under the age of 14 (kids under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult). Remember, if you do bring them, they'll get to see you rockin' like you did back in the day! AGE LIMIT Under 14 Must Be Accompanied By An Adult Under 5 Will Not Be Admitted Into The Theatre

Rock should have a hard edge but this show is as hard and gritty as putty. It doesn't manage the tongue-in-cheek it's trying for, instead it's just lazy cheesy stereotypes. The cast are very enthusiastic, but can't rescue this sad excuse for a broadway style show.

Great show and awesome performers. The songs brought back memories. I still had glitter sticking to me after the show. The theatre in the Venetian was great. There wasn't a bad seat in the house. the bar on the outside was a great plus. The cast is great and very talented. There are some familiar faces too. Shouldn't miss!

Rock and Roll is about damn the man, is about being different, it's about loud awesome music that makes you wanna stand up, scream and dance. A show about Rock n Roll has so much potential.

Rock of Ages is about over simplified attempt to portray a bad storyline. It's primarily about objectifying women*, making rock horns, and not actually singing enough of any particular song. It's also offensive to gays, Germans, gay Germans and anyone who's ever met a German.

*Objectifying women; now dont lose me but the only two female characters are one named "Regina Coontz" (are you kidding me?) and one who spends more time having her behind grabbed than singing.

I tried to leave within 15 minutes, but had bought my tickets via a vendor so I was unable to get a refund so I sat through the whole thing and just drank a lot. And was sad about spending my Saturday night in Vegas there.
