Owner description: Ready to rock out like it's 1956 all over again? A nationwide touring hit, Tony(R) Award-winning musical "Million Dollar Quartet" takes audiences back to December 4, 1956, when an extraordinary twist of fate brought Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins together in what became one of the most memorable nights in music. Based around that historical event, the musical recounts how the legends ended up in the same room at Sun Records in Memphis for one of the greatest impromptu rock 'n' roll jam sessions in history. It brings to light the extraordinary story of broken promises, secrets, and the once-in-a-lifetime celebration of four friends that is both poignant and heartwarming. Featuring talented, charismatic actors and singers, relive the era with the show's incredible score of rock 'n' roll, gospel, R&B and country hits. Showcased hit songs include everything from "Blue Suede Shoes," and "Walk the Line" to "Ghost Riders"," "Sixteen Tons," "Great Balls of Fire," "Folsom Prison Blues," "Fever," "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On," "Hound Dog," and more.

I saw this musical on Broadway a few years ago. I think this production was better then the one on Broadway. I had told my husband about the play and we had tried to get tickets when it was in Houston, but could not get tickets for a weekend performance so he insisted on going while we were in Vegas. Jerry Lee Lewis's character stole the show here as well as in New York. I recommend this to anyone who is a fan of Johnny Cash, Elvis or Jerry Lee Lewis or just likes classic music.

This was a thoroughly entertaining show performed by a wonderfully talented cast. A nice bonus was the Harrah's showroom's new theater-style seating up front. A great improvement since my last visit to this space. Instead of sitting in uncomfortable chairs wedged around crammed-in tables, watching the show at a slight angle, my party was facing forward, in comfy seats, with a great view of the stage.

The actors in this musical were spot on. The spoke and sung as the people they portrayed would have. The venue in Harrah's is aged and not the most comfortable but the music makes up for it.

Great seats. The actors were unbelievable! The guy who played Elvis, had his mannerisms and movements from the 50s down perfectly. Carl Perkins personality was right on. Johnny Cash sounded and acted just like him. Hard to believe it was not him on the stage. Jerry Lee Lewis was just unbelievable! He looked like him, sang like him and acted like him. He was so talented and entertaining (even when he wasn't directly involved in the dialogue) that he was amazing. The show had its sad moments too. The ending was terrific when each actor got his moment to shine. My only complaint is that I could have sat there and watched and listened to this for another hour or two. Do NOT miss this one. It is easily worth the money. For $1. extra, we ate at Harrahs buffet.

Was an entertaining show if you like old music from the 50's when Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley got together for a jam session.
