Description: Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill is the neighborhood restaurant conceptualized by the award-winning chef. The 290 seat restaurant is the most authentic English pub experience in Las Vegas, as only a native UK chef can provide. Acting as two unique restaurants the grill section of the restaurant features a relaxed and friendly setting with dishes including New Zealand Red Snapper, lamb T-bone, whole brick pressed Cornish chicken, dry aged 30 oz. bone-in beef rib eye and spotted dog. The pub features elevated British pub food in a comfortable and lively setting showing sporting events from across the world on state of the art entertainment systems. The pub includes 36 beers served on tap plus 24 bottled beers. With an eye towards dishes that pair well with beer the pub menu includes English ale onion soup, shepherd’s pie, and a selection of sausages, fried egg sandwiches and the classic pub fish and chips.

Went for lunch did not need to wait for a table. Ordered the fish and chips and shepherds pie, served quickly. Fish and chips were really nice but the mushy peas were a joke! About one tablespoon of peas and rather an off putting colour of two shades of green, like they had been sat around for a long time and reheated again and again. My son had the shepherds pie said it was awesome but a small portion, should have ordered veg as an extra but for the price you think a few greens would be included. Staff friendly and attentive but over eager to clear plates when others on the table are still eating, I found this rather rude.

After long walking around the strip we were hungry. Female welcome staff was grumpy and unwelcoming, if we had more energy we would have gone elsewhere. Luckily our server "Pety S" was excellent. Very friendly and upbeat. Liked the complimentary pretzel bread and cheese dipping sauce. We had the burger sliders which were fine, nothing stunning and the lemon flavor made me think of washing up liquid. Ordered a side order of fries, which arrived looking great but were cold and soggy. Good news was that server exchanged them for fresh when requested. But not great quality control out of the kitchen. Expensive for what you get, but then again it is Vegas.

It's 10:30 you've just done a show and a bit of light shopping at the Forum Shops. Your hungry but don't feel like sitting down in a pretentious dining room or seeking out last licks and the nearest buffet. Well Gordon Ramsay has you covered with two dining option Burgr and Pub and Grill.
The menu is what it is shepards pie, cod and chips and sliders for you yanks. Yes the food is overpriced but hey the overhead in Caesars must be a pound and a crown. The service here was uneven, very amenable waitress, sulky busman~French maybe. Here's the upside the food is very good.
My friend had the fish and chips ( while the mushy peas were also on the plate they were passed over in favor of the three pieces of cod that made the plate almost justify the price. She also ordered the Mac N Cheese and while the tasting was very good she ended up having to make that a to go item as the fish plate was sufficient to satiate night hunger pangs.
I had the sliders and a side of mushrooms ( three different types with a poached egg on top). I was not hungry enough for a main entree and as it turned out I too had to make one of my sliders and some of the mushrooms a brown bag item. The sliders were a good size not at all the mini-me I was expecting the bread was substantial and the medium well was very nicely done. It might be worth it for Pub to consider an entree pairing with chips. I was endeavering to have something like a mushroom burger and the pairing did not dissapoint as the mushrooms were a reasonable size side and were very nicely done.
All and all well worth a stop in for easy ,but yes a bit pricey Pub Grub!

We were told that there would be a table in the bar in 45mins (even though there were at least eight free tables). When we returned the server tried to seat us in the restaurant area. When we explained that we had requested a table in the bar, she said "oh you can sit anywhere in the bar"! Server was obviously in a bad mood as she nearly smashed the plate when setting down the tasty scotch egg. Food was good but not great. Service was an embarrassment to the fiery Scot.

We ate a late lunch here. My soup was good and the Shepherd's pie was very good. Not sure it is worth the prices they charge but the food won't disappoint.
