Description: Star chef Devin Hashimoto, whose talent for marrying Japanese flavors with French technique earned critical raves as chef de cuisine at Alex Stratta’s five-star temple of haute French dining, now brings his deft modern touch to the Mizumi experience. Like its sister restaurants at Wynn and Encore, Mizumi is dramatic to the eye, a sweeping space framed by panoramic views of a tranquil lagoon and Zen-like gardens. Sliding glass panels open onto two majestic waterfalls, each cascading into a shimmering koi-filled pond. A diverse range of imaginative and authentic dining experiences are available here - from Hashimoto’s a la carte menu of creations both classic and trendy to the authentic robata grill cooking, the more theatrical teppan yaki room where chefs prepare multi-course dinners tableside, or the superb sushi and sashimi bar offerings. With its iconic waterfalls, stunning décor creative Japanese fare, this oasis of tranquility offers world-class dining in the heart of Wynn.

Definitely the wow factor is in place. The place is fabulous. I recommend to eat in the main room, rather than in the teppanyaki room (better view). Sea Urchin was...out of this world. Teppanyaki was good, nothing extraordinary. Overall, overpriced I think.

Mizumi Restaurant at The Wynn Hotel is our favorite in all Las Vegas. The sushi/sashimi is exquisite. The robata is incredible. The decor is restful yet exciting. The service is outstanding - prrsonably attentive yet not intrusive. Grant is an incredible waiter devoted to meeting your every need.

Beautiful room, elegant, spacious, looks out on waterfall garden. A main seating area, private and Teppanyaki room. My wife and I shared the delicious chef's tasting menu @ $125, the black cod, and a $50 carafe of saki. The food and service were exceptional. I wanted to try top quality saki but for me not worth the price.

Two complaints were the stated dress codes were not enforced and the music inappropriate and too loud.

We made the reservation through the hotel concierge a few hours in advance. He said ours was the only table left at 7 PM. Try to sit beside the waterfall window.

Despite the cost there were many families with children.

I'm not sure what to say about Mizumi before becoming wax-lyrical. It was my second time there. The setting is still absolutely sublime (everyone is spending 10 minutes taking pictures of where they've been to eat sort of sublime) and second its funky take on traditional asian food is second to none, period.

Yes, it's big bucks. 500 usd for 2 for 4 relatively smallish plates and half bottle sort of big bucks. So don't go there with expectation of anything but the best, which I did, and I must say from service to food to attention to detail, Mizumi blows the best japanese restaurants I've been to (all Michelin rated) straight of the water.

If you can spare 100 or 110 usd on the wagyu beef, do yourself a favour and enjoy the bar-none best wagyu outside of Japan. And even there it would probably rank in the top 5 nationwide. Add to this the list of some of the best Japanese whiskies on offering on the planet and you start to wonder - how the @(R*r9r9 did they manage to bring all this to a desert-town? It blows my mind every single time.

These guys rock. They deserve 5 star regardless of how much they charge, because on top of admirable quality i can now add consistency to their delivery. A foodie's dream.

Great dinner date with wife. Started off with a tuna roll and than had the chicken. My wife had the mixed meat dinner and she loved it also.
