I was actually not expecting too much from this place since many places we tried in Vegas were overpriced and the food was mediocre. But this place had good food, big portions, fast service, and the price was much lower than so many other restaurants in the MGM and the area.

We enjoyed this restaurant late one evening after seeing KA. As others have said, this isn't a restaurant that belongs in the fine dining category but if your are looking for a good solid place to eat and would like something a little more special than the Cafe or the Buffet, this is definitely a good one to consider. My husband and I are major sushi fans and we were a little disappointed in the choices available here, but we were still able to find enough options that we could enjoy to make a meal out of sushi, which was out intention in eating here.

I know there are more high end choices available for sushi here at the MGM, but this one was quick, casual and tasty and fit the bill for us at the time so we greatly enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend this to all of the sushi fans out there, especially if you are looking for a reasonably priced meal (by Vegas standards) without all of the fine dining fuss (and cost!).

I personally thought for the food quality that the prices were a little high, but it's Vegas. My husband really enjoyed a pork dish. I wasn't super hungry, but ordered the dumplings. Definitely and appetizer portion. All the other tables seemed to be enjoying their dinners.

If you're looking for the Vegas wow factor (and the accompanying drain on the wallet) this may not be the best choice. But I'd recommend Grand Wok if you're seeking reasonably priced (by Vegas standards) and well-prepared classics from various Asian cuisines. 4 of us shared above average spring rolls and pot stickers, a very large bowl of tasty Thai Tom Yum soup with large and succulent shrimp, 2 sushi rolls, and 4 pieces of sashimi. The sushi and sashimi portions were generous and featured fresh and delicious ingredients. A pot of jasmine tea, a glass of wine, and a glass of Sake brought the bill to $120 plus tip. Service staff was friendly and accommodating.
