Owner description: Cactus Joe’s Las Vegas Nursery is an eclectic cactus nursery and desert garden. We are Nevada’s best and largest authorized retailer of Joshua Trees. In addition to our Joshua Tree forest, you will find our grounds filled with an array of desert plants including cacti, succulents, agave, yucca, native Nevada plants and so much more. We also offer a hugh selection of pottery, concrete statues, metal yard art, unique outdoor wooden furniture, decorative rainbow glass, rocks, gems, minerals and a gift shop. Not your typical garden center. Visit the themed Asian and Western Gardens, Joshua Tree Forest, Petrified Wood Garden, Rock Shop, Gift Shop, South Western Pottery Land, Wedding Chapel, and giant rock Labyrinth. Cactus Joe’s is a great place to spend the day with family and friends. Friendly leashed pets are welcome too! Voted “Best of the City”, Best Plant Nursery in Las Vegas and Nevada.

If you're off to Red Rock Canyon you have to stop at Cactus Joes. He has a wide range of cactus, lawn ornaments, and jewelry. My favorite part of the visit is visiting with his rescue dogs. Sideways Sammy is so sweet it make you want to stay for hours. He ships out so you can buy anything there and it will meet you home.

Great place!

My wife and I always make a point to visit Cactus Joe's whenever we're in Vegas. This is one of the most interesting and enjoyable places we have found in many visits to the Las Vegas area. The people are great, the sights fantastic (flowering cactus are quite beautiful) and this is the perfect place to pick up that special gift that isn't your typical Las Vegas type souvenir. A beautiful cactus farm but also has lots of art, souvenirs, and more. Highly recommended.

On the Blue Diamond Highway, halfway between Vegas and Red Rock Canyon is Cactus Joes. You cant miss it. A sign leads you into a nice gravel parking area and into the welcoming 7 acre cactus garden and all around ecclectic marketplace as envisioned by Cactus Joe himself. You will find fantastic cactus displays, rocks, gemstones, gold, fossils, and every kind of art you can imagine. Prices are very good compared to a retail type operation, and if you are very lucky, you will run into Joe himself. Joe kind of hangs out in the general store in the middle of the nusery, and is one of the most interesting desert people you could ever meet. Ask him about all of his mines, and what adventures he is up to, and he will be happy to bend your ear. I say STOP and play at Cactus Joes, or you will miss a very fun little stop along the way.

Whether you're into cactus or not - Cactus Joe's is a fun place to stop to walk around and visit. It is quite expansive and the folks are friendly... just a pleasant place to meander and see the desert sites.
