Owner description: The Mob Museum provides a world-class, interactive journey through true stories. From the birth of the Mob, to today's headlines. Shadows and whispers. G-Men and Made Men. Whether you like it or not, this is American history. The Mob Museum is a three-story experience, with guests beginning on the third floor of the Museum. The third floor covers immigration of various cultures into the United States in the late 1800s, the rise of organized crime during Prohibition, and how organized crime spread across the country. Guests then work their way down to the second floor, where they learn about the Mob in Las Vegas and begin to see the efforts law enforcement took in the mid-1900s to bring down organized crime. To complete the visit, guests end on the first floor, where they begin to see modern examples of organized crime and the technological advancements law enforcement made in order to capture evasive mobsters. The Museum's collection includes over 1,000 artifacts, and real stories are brought to life with engaging, multi-sensory exhibits and unparalleled insights from those on the front lines of both sides of the battle. The Mob Museum offers a provocative, contemporary look at this fascinating topic through hundreds of artifacts and immersive storylines. We bring Mob stories to life so completely, you'll feel like you're part of them. But hey-you didn't hear it from us.

“Excellent and Informative Presentation”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 2, 2013

We recently toured the Mob Museum in downtown Las Vegas and were very satisfied with the self guided tour and the presentation of the information. The museum is in the actual Federal Building where the Kefauver hearings into organized crime were held in the early 50s. Part of the tour includes a visit to the actual courtroom preserved pretty much as it was then. There are three floors of memorabilia and information on the mob activity, not only in Vegas, but in other major cities. If you read all the information and utilized all the interactive displays you could easily spend two or three hours in the museum. However, if you are like us and just viewed the information and things that you were familiar with or had an interest in you can get your money’s worth in an hour or so. Whether you are devoted to the history of organized crime or just have a casual interest in the impact that it had in the 20th century this tour is well worth the time and money.

“Not one of the must see attractions in Vegas ”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 1, 2013 via mobile

It was an interesting place to check out but not one I would visit again. The displays consisted mostly of little plaques of information with pictures. I ended up skipping most of the displays because there were too many people crowded around trying to read the tiny plaque. A self-guided audio tour may have made it a better experience for me.

this attraction was a complete surprised.it was put together with interactive features and videos.they had the original wall of the valentine day massacre; blood and bullet holes visible.the walls were covered with pictures and history of various gangsters.you could listen in on the various wiretaps ,such as the wiretap of john gottie.sit in the actual court house room where hearing were held in vegas and treated to a mini movie of court testimony.this place was delightful .we never expected to be there 4 hours .it was 3 floors of historical information.skip a overpriced show and visit the mob.

“Well done!”

This is a 2 hour self guided tour through the Mob Museum downtown. The US post office and courthouse has undergone a face lift and now it's the Mob Museum. Well worth the $20 per person admission. Lots of interesting facts and articles to read.
