Owner description: The Mob Museum provides a world-class, interactive journey through true stories. From the birth of the Mob, to today's headlines. Shadows and whispers. G-Men and Made Men. Whether you like it or not, this is American history. The Mob Museum is a three-story experience, with guests beginning on the third floor of the Museum. The third floor covers immigration of various cultures into the United States in the late 1800s, the rise of organized crime during Prohibition, and how organized crime spread across the country. Guests then work their way down to the second floor, where they learn about the Mob in Las Vegas and begin to see the efforts law enforcement took in the mid-1900s to bring down organized crime. To complete the visit, guests end on the first floor, where they begin to see modern examples of organized crime and the technological advancements law enforcement made in order to capture evasive mobsters. The Museum's collection includes over 1,000 artifacts, and real stories are brought to life with engaging, multi-sensory exhibits and unparalleled insights from those on the front lines of both sides of the battle. The Mob Museum offers a provocative, contemporary look at this fascinating topic through hundreds of artifacts and immersive storylines. We bring Mob stories to life so completely, you'll feel like you're part of them. But hey-you didn't hear it from us.

“Unique and innovative experience”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

This is not a normal museum. Do not go here if you want a traditional, non-interactive or innovative experience! Going round the museum as a visitor it almost felt at times like you are part of a film set. You can easily spend a few hours though; there is a lot of different exhibits and reading.

I’m not sure I would recommend this for young children (or Vegas full stop) but this is definitely a unique attraction and a great place for adults to visit.

LOVE love love this place! So much fun, it was great learning about all the history of Vegas. There are locals prices (always good) and special days. Awesome events for everyone and lots of local celbrities pop in on occassion. You just never know who will stop by. Be sure to allow enough time to see the whole place. From top to bottom! Don't miss the electric chair!

“Excellent use of historical building - loved it!”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

A quick walk from Fremont Street. Allow yourself plenty of time because there is much to see. The wrist pass is for all day - you can return later if you need a break. This museum has only been open for a year and it is a wonderful addition to Vegas. The Mob mystique is explained well, and the courtroom upstairs hosts an informative film. Other films throughout museum with many artifacts and numerous photos. Use of the well preserved Post Office/Courthouse building was brilliant and excellent use of the space. Attractive indoors and out. Some exhibits not recommended for small children; some in our group had fun taking "lineup" photos.

“Must See in Downtown Vegas”
Reviewed January 19, 2013

Read the reviews and decided to check it out for myself. The museum was a five minute walk from Fremont Street, which was a nice bonus to avoid a cab. The exhibits were FANTASTIC!! Three floors of the evolution of the mob world. It was fascinating and very informative. Plus it was a historical nerd's dream with the actual courtroom and old artifacts. This is a must see attraction in Vegas. I'm so glad I went and I feel bad for the people in my group who missed out and chose the casinos instead.
