Owner description: The Mob Museum provides a world-class, interactive journey through true stories. From the birth of the Mob, to today's headlines. Shadows and whispers. G-Men and Made Men. Whether you like it or not, this is American history. The Mob Museum is a three-story experience, with guests beginning on the third floor of the Museum. The third floor covers immigration of various cultures into the United States in the late 1800s, the rise of organized crime during Prohibition, and how organized crime spread across the country. Guests then work their way down to the second floor, where they learn about the Mob in Las Vegas and begin to see the efforts law enforcement took in the mid-1900s to bring down organized crime. To complete the visit, guests end on the first floor, where they begin to see modern examples of organized crime and the technological advancements law enforcement made in order to capture evasive mobsters. The Museum's collection includes over 1,000 artifacts, and real stories are brought to life with engaging, multi-sensory exhibits and unparalleled insights from those on the front lines of both sides of the battle. The Mob Museum offers a provocative, contemporary look at this fascinating topic through hundreds of artifacts and immersive storylines. We bring Mob stories to life so completely, you'll feel like you're part of them. But hey-you didn't hear it from us.

My family of 4 visited the museum on 12/30/12. The self guided tour started on the 3rd floor and you work your way down. Every display was interesting and covered crime bosses from Gotti, Gambino, Capone and many notorious gangsters. Well worth the admission price.

A must see while in vegas! Take your time and watch the videos. The last one is about the gangsters in movies. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I purchased a Las Vegas Power Pass and The Mob Museum was one of the attractions that we were able to get in with the pass. I did not know what to expect when we went but we were pleasantly surprised! The museum is very well organized and very interesting! They did a really really good job turning this old federal building into the museum. Some of it is quite graphic, but it's almost to be expected. I especially liked the area where they showed the ways people have used to scam casinos. Lots of cool items to look at. Very interactive. Highly recommended.

I had no idea what to expect from this museum, but the subject fascinated me, especially with the long-standing ties that Las Vegas has to organised crime. The layout of the museum is well done in this converted old federal building. You start on the third floor and make your way down. The films and artificers are good, but graphic. If you are sensitive to violence you may want to skip parts. I took my 11 year old son and 16 year old daughter and they were fine.
I recommend that you give yourself a couple hours to make your way through. Also, there are discounts for teachers, students, and others, so bring ID. Look around for other available coupons in fliers.

3 floors on the history of organized crime for about $20 per adult. It was fine, but nothing special. If you are into that sort of history it might be better. It was mostly videos and wordy displays. The staff was nice though & it is a nice break from the Strip. We, and others, have eaten at Triple Georges down the street. It’s also a block from Fremont st.
