Owner description: The Mob Museum provides a world-class, interactive journey through true stories. From the birth of the Mob, to today's headlines. Shadows and whispers. G-Men and Made Men. Whether you like it or not, this is American history. The Mob Museum is a three-story experience, with guests beginning on the third floor of the Museum. The third floor covers immigration of various cultures into the United States in the late 1800s, the rise of organized crime during Prohibition, and how organized crime spread across the country. Guests then work their way down to the second floor, where they learn about the Mob in Las Vegas and begin to see the efforts law enforcement took in the mid-1900s to bring down organized crime. To complete the visit, guests end on the first floor, where they begin to see modern examples of organized crime and the technological advancements law enforcement made in order to capture evasive mobsters. The Museum's collection includes over 1,000 artifacts, and real stories are brought to life with engaging, multi-sensory exhibits and unparalleled insights from those on the front lines of both sides of the battle. The Mob Museum offers a provocative, contemporary look at this fascinating topic through hundreds of artifacts and immersive storylines. We bring Mob stories to life so completely, you'll feel like you're part of them. But hey-you didn't hear it from us.

My husband and I visited in June and LOVED it! Have always been interested in Mafia related stories and this place had so much information! All the pictures/exhibits and stories were so interesting! Thought I knew lots about the mob but found so much that I didn't know! We probably spent about 3 to 4 hours there and couldn't believe how quickly the time went by! Was a little leary about going downtown and where we would be dropped off as we hadn't been downtown in a long time but it was perfectly safe! The bus driver dropped us off within a short distance from the Museum. A very easy walk. To think that the Kauver hearings were held in the same building/court room was awesome! (The movie about the hearings was terrific!) Really enjoyed the gift shop and was able to purchase a few books to add to my collection! If you have any interest in the mob and how they were connected to Las Vegas, you will thoroughly enjoy this museum! Coming to Vegas every year we always look for something new to do, this was the highlight of this trip!

A great way to spend an afternoon. There is enough to keep you entertained for a few hours. Lots of information the mob starting back to the 1800's. Plenty of opportunies to take pictures and interactions. You can even listen to wire taps. One mice thing was it was not focused on one particular mobster, they touched on north, south east and west. It was great! Go you wont regret it.

This place was amazing, alot about the mob and Vegas. There is three floors of soo much information and facts. I recommend that you have time to do this. We were told that it takes about an hour a floor. I believe it took us about 2 hours...sooo worth it.

This museum is located in downtown LV near the Main Street Hotel and Casino. Exhibits were unique, detailed, and compelling. Some displays were graphic so if you are squeamish or have young kids, you may want to pass on this... There are many interactive activities. We spent over 2.5 hours here and still did not see all there is to see. Well worth the price of admission. I intend to go back and visit again on my next stop at Vegas.

The short films and interactive displays were fun and interesting. The museum speaks to the problems with proving that a mob existed. Participants enter a real court room and watch Congressional hearings on the matter. Lots of fun.
