Excellent facility, we did not want for anything. Very convenient shuttle to the strip and a brief walk to the MGM. Couldn't have asked for a better deal combining comfortably and convenience all at a great price.

I stayed here at the end of my Vegas trip, 7 nights at Aria, 5 nights at Signature, 1 night in Death Valley and then 3 nights at the Wyndham, which I only booked as CES was making everywhere else very expensive to stay!

And I would chose the Wyndham over all of the above every time now. We stayed in tower 2 on the 7th floor and we're able to get parked quickly and right outside the main doors every time. Checking was quick and easy and all staff we encountered were very friendly. We booked a 1 bed suite and it was large, clean, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The adult pool was open and we were able to swim as it was heated and use the hot tub. The cafe on the 3rd floor was very handy as well. The wifi was also free and much faster than anywhere else we had stayed which is a huge bonus for us.

Overall we had an great stay, the only downsides were that on our last night the people above us put their hot tub on at 11.30pm and the noise of it and the water in the pipes was deafening. I called to reception to complain (we were getting up at 4am for out flight back home so really needed sleep!) and they said they would send security, an hour later no sign of anything changing, so we had to move to the sofa in the living area in order to get any sleep. Not the Wyndhams fault that they have selfish people staying but there clearly is no deafening/ lagging of the pipes or between rooms. We also noticed that the housekeepers left their very large carts outside the housekeeping room on our floor at all times of the day, this looked really messy and mostly blocked the corridor which we thought was a bit unprofessional and clearly a safety issue.

But overall we much preferred our stay here to any of our other hotels and considering we paid about a third of what we paid for them I would return here over them every time.

Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. We appreciate your kind words regarding your check-in process and our friendly staff. It’s great to hear that the unit you stayed in fully accommodated your needs. We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced from the noise due to the hot tub. We know it is important to feel completely relaxed when on vacation. Thank you for the feedback in regards to the housekeeping carts in the halls. We will be sure to address this with our management staff. Again, thank you for reaching out and we look forward to your next visit.

It is beyond our expectation that the room is spacious with good view of the strip. It is very relaxing to stay in the room for leisure. 15 minutes walking distance from the strip and there is a shuttle departed every 20 minutes to the strip. You will be asked to complete the check-in process to get the coupon for taking the shuttle but in fact you do not need to show anything when you get on the shuttle. So, you can just simply go to your room after getting the key. The location of the hotel is good since you can enjoy the lively of the strip but also stay away from the crowd. A well equipped kitchen allows you to do good cooking. Yet, there is no supermarket nearby. You can ask for a room in a higher floor when you book the hotel and your request will be met as far as possible. No pushing for joining the timesharing meeting.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in Tower 3 where you can get a nice view of the strip. Of course, higher floors have...

As always, everything about this facility is top notch, and first class -- the rooms, the accommodations within the rooms, the staff, the convenience, the amenities, the security -- everything. It is conveniently located a few blocks from The Strip, but also, is very nice and close to Paradise Road.

Our room looked out across Vegas, toward the Stratosphere, and, a very nice surprise, allowed us to see fireworks shows, at 3 different hotels.

I am looking forward to My next visits in February.

Room Tip: if you can get a room that has a jacuzzi tub, it makes for an amazing experience

We booked a 1 bedrrom deluxe suite through RCI. The suite was in very good condition with a king size bed that was the most comfortable we have slept in for a resort or hotel. Kitchen was well equipped and very clean.

We arrived at 3 PM and were told that our room would not be ready until 4 PM which turned out to be 4:45 PM. We had requested 5 months earilier a higher room with a view of the strip but we received a lower floor room with a view of the interior pool area. It seems that owners received the better view rooms over non-owners.

While we waited for our room to become available, met with the timeshare folks who informed us that if we went to the 90 minute presentation, we would receive some gifts which we agreed to participate in. We scheduled our presentation for the morning of day 3 of our stay.

We went to the 90 minute presentation and then informed the representative that we were not interested in purchasing a membership and requested our gifts. We were ignored and sent to another sales person would began the sales pitch even thou we again said we were not interested in buying. After 45 minutes, he finally gave up and then we were introduced to the final high pressure sales representative for one more attempt. We informed him again that we only agreed to a 90 minute presentation which was exceeded, we were not interested in buying, and we wanted to leave. This guy then proceeded to begin his final sales pitch as if he did not hear what we said and got very rude when we said we were leaving. After saying we wanted to talk with his manager he relented and gave us our promised gift. Bottom line, do not go to their presentation unless you really want to consider buying.

We stayed here 1 week and the room was never cleaned nor were the linens changed during our stay. When we complianed about this, we were told that for an additional $90 per cleaning, our room would be cleaned and the linens would be changed. We tought that this was outrangeous and at least, they could have cleaned our room and changed the linens mid-week.

They only have a cafe which serves a simple breakfast menu along with burgers, sandwiches, and pizza for lunch and dinner. It would be nice if that had a more full service restaurant on site.

On a very positive note, they do offer a free shuttle service between the hotel and Hariah's casino which is great!

We would recommend staying at this hotel to couples and families.

Hi John,

We appreciate you taking the time to provide this feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed your unit amenities. We apologize for your delay at check-in. We know after a long day of traveling the last thing you want to do is wait to get into your room to relax. With your feedback we can continue to improve the guest experience. Please rest assured that we will be making changes to ensure we get our guests into their units on time to start their vacation. Our goal is to make each guest feel at home by providing kitchen and laundry accommodations. Because we have condo-style resorts, certain hotel amenities such as daily housekeeping do not exist. Please also note we are unable to confirm any unit prior to check-in. We strive to provide this information to the guest through our website, pre-arrival letter and confirmation letter. We apologize for any confusion and will work to better communicate this through additional channels in the future. Again, thanks for taking the time to reach out.

had a 2 bed 2 bath unit with jetted tub. Pros: large clean unit with full kitchen washer and dryer, strong 10mbs FREE wifi. Cons: They will try to lure you to a timesharing meeting by offering free breakfast or other gifts. you can firmly say no or say you'll go to their desk tomorrow. Not answering the phone is also a good idea.

café and market can help but you are better off outside. walls a bit on the thin side. our neighbors were not loud. A bit far from the strip (20 min walk) but you can park for free at planet hollywood (miracle mile shops).

Friendly staff. renting from VRBO was much cheaper than from expedia

Room Tip: pick 2 bedroom 2 bath from VRBO. you will enjoy the extra space. tower 3 has less traffic and noise...

The Wyndham Grand Desert Resort is three blocks off of the strip. You are on the east side of the strip behind Planet Hollywood. This resort is smoke free...you don't have to walk through a casino full of smoke to get to an exit. We enjoyed their heated pool and hot tubs...just a nice way to relax and yet be so close to the strip. You are only minutes from the airport and the parking was free and seem to be plentiful. You have easy access to the underground mall at Planet Hollywood and the monorail at Excalibur...just on the other side of LVB. The resort has a shuttle that runs quite frequently to Harrahs' which is right next to the Venetian. They should consider a shuttle to downtown/Freemont area. We had the two bedroom and found it nice, clean, and fairly up to date. I would definitely return to this resort.

Room Tip: We overlooked the courtyard and found it to be very nice. They have others that can view the strip.
