Stayed in Building 3, 3 bedrrom deluxe, not an owner. Spouse's were not with us and therefore no timeshare presentation, no calls etc. Room was clean and quiet, building 3 has a 24 pool and hottub. Can not believe the number of employees cleaning and working while we were there, grounds are great, Adult pool was fun and relaxing. Not the place for a big party, or if your looking to get drunk, but was a place to rest after going to the strip and Freemont Street. We had a rental car but you do not need one. Shuttle was fine and taxi ride home was not that much $, if you stay out past the time of the last shutle. Staff was very coopertive and friendly, wine and beer reception, margaritta night etc. Will be back again. For the rest of the Story, WGOIVSIV....

Clean rooms. In the shower room there were No washcloths. The hotel had two pools, one was for kids the other one. Was for adults. Did not use the bar or any other facilities so cannot comment. Nice exercise room.

Wyndham's Grand Desert is an oasis...wonderful place to relax and unwind. The resort is top notch. The entry way is lovely, the front desk staff were attentive to our every need. We got a nice welcome gift as VIP owners - some local made caramel corn and lemonade. Our 2 bedroom condo was spacious, nicely appointed. We took advantage of the workout room and the adults-only pool/hottub. Everything was clean and nice. Our bed was so very comfortable! We loved the huge in room jacuzzi tub, too. The Wyndham offers family activities as well. One afternoon there was a hula hoop contest that had everyone laughing at the sweetest little girl attempting to get her hoop to work. Tie die tshirt making was another family favorite. We were able to walk pretty much anywhere we wanted to go as the strip isn't too far away.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view...you'll also be able to see the planes land at the airport from the upper f...

Green Features: Each floor's trash area features recycling bins. Because many people take advantage of the full condo kitchens, extra canned goods are collected in the lobby to share with those who need them. Glad to see this practice as I hate to see people waste.

Stayed for a couple nights last week. Condos are nice and spacious especially if travelling with young kids.
Located a couple blocks off the strip -complimentary bus service every 10 mins to Harras was convinient.
Kids pool could have been kept cleaner though

After staying here a full week, I was very pleased. We came a little early for a convention to "chill out". The resort has an excellent courtyard in the center of building 1 and 2. It is well landscaped and multi-level with both an adult-only pool and kid pool. We enjoyed the continuous vacation type tunes playing as well as the lounge chairs and hot tubs. The resort also offers complimentary activities poolside during the week..like mimosas and live singing on Sunday morning. They offered many more amenities (trips, shuttle service, cafe, poolside bar, game room, free WIFI). Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room had excellent space/layout and all the comforts of home...including a very cozy bed, dishwasher, washing machine and dvd player. We loved being away from the strip for relaxation but close enough to the strip to take advantage of night life. Resort offered free parking and many spots on the strip offer free self parking. Rent a car, you won't regret it! It allows you so much freedom to eat where ever you find a deal, and go to spots like scenic Red Rock Canyon only 40 minutes away! We would definitely come here again. (Just a FYI: We did not opt to hear the timeshare presentation, and they were not bothersome after we declined.)

Room Tip: If you are not much into the city scape, ask for a pool view room.

We have stayed here before and decided to return for my husband's birthday... We arrived on his bday .... Arrived on a later flight so was a little tired but had planned to shop and make my husband a dinner ... The resort offers for a small fee trips to Walmart.

We boarded the bus thinking it was going to Walmart .... Not the case told the driver we were suppose to be on the bus headed to Walmart ... She called ahead but it was to late it had already left... We then went it talked to the resorts manager explained my situation, he then called the driver of the Walmart van told her not to leave then called us a cab, paid for it and sent us on our way.

When traveling we know things may happen but it is the outcome that makes a difference .... And that can make or break a trip... Thank you for a great stay

My wife and I recently had the opportunity to return to Las Vegas. On this occasion we stayed at the Wyndham Grand Desert on East Harmon Avenue.
The staff were very responsive and accommodating to our needs and most helpful with any request we made. The property, grounds, rooms, pools and all of the services we used were in excellent condition and in keeping with our expectations. All in all the experience was definitely worth repeating. When it came time for the seemingly obligatory sales pitch, to become involved in time share properties we simply declined and no further mention was made of the issue.
This type of accommodation may not be ideal for all travelers, however there are some definite perks in having the spacious accommodations and well maintained amenities close at hand.
We found concierge service was reliable, with a gentleman by the name of Ira, a very friendly and knowledgeable source of local information. Likewise Janet, a supervisor in reception, was understanding and helpful when our travel plans were suddenly interrupted.
The net result is that the experience was positive in respect to our personal tastes and preferences. Two thumbs up to the staff at Wyndham Grand Desert, Las Vegas.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the pool area, otherwise you are looking out over a variety of construction...
