Absinthe could be described as a mini Cirque Du Soleil variety show with a serious adult edge. There is only very modest nudity, but the dialogue is definitely for adults only. The two main hosts, a ringmaster guy and his female assistant are absolutely hilarious. Their jokes and dialogue are very crude, raunchy, and sexually explicit, so be warned if you are easily offended by that kind of stuff. I would say that the dialogue was at times more raunchy and crude than it really had to be, but it was still very funny and entertaining.

The venue itself is fairy small and takes place in a festively decorated and propped tent situated outside Caesars Palace. The seating consists of wooden folding-type chairs that are lightly padded and seats are tightly packed. All seats are floor level and laid-out in a circle around a center stage. The viewing is not that great at times because of the performers are often also at a low level and it's sometimes hard to see through the rows of people in front of you. My biggest complaint is that the temperature inside the tent at times was uncomfortably hot (even though the outside temperature was in the mid to low 40s). The A/C kicks on and off during the show, but I was at times very uncomfortable. The viewing and comfort for this show could really be improved if they fix the ventilation and arrange the seats or staging for better viewing.

This was a fun show to see at least once. I don't know that I would care to see it a second time like I have with other shows.

Loved it! I recommend it as long as you are not easily offended. They hand out $20 off coupons by the box office outside Caesars but you can't use them on the VIP seats.

Show performed 'in the round' in a circus style tent (wonderfully appointed inside). The show features many talented acrobatic acts and is punctuated with very funny adult humour from the hosts.
We bought our tickets from tix4tonight and had to go to box office to get seating ticket. On arrival there was someone handing out 20 dollar discounts which was what we saved at tix4tonight so it may be worthwhile to check the box office direct also.
Seating is no prob as theres only 9 rows and you are probably better a few rows back to see everything. We were 2nd from back and had a great view. Also some people in front and second rows got picked by host on so sit back if you want to be anonymous!

hmmm celine dion or something cool? we chose with advice from the concierge Absinthe and were not disappointed. Very much 18 plus so if you have sensitive ears, dont go! if you like fun clever entertainment, go for it, Ask for a seat close to the front if possible.
