“Excellent food and service”
Reviewed June 18, 2013 via mobile

The food was excellent, the waitress made some recommendations, one of them a beef Appetizer with Pad Tai sauce, and it taste so it so good that we ordered one to go. We loved it and we will give this restaurant a 5.

“Unexpected in that neighborhood”
Reviewed June 12, 2013 via mobile

Had spent a morning downtown with friends at the Mob Museum. As we rarely make it into that part of town, we decided to walk around a bit. Surely, there is redevelopment with many new buildings and renovations. I had read about Le Thai and suggested we try it for lunch. As we walked down Fremont Street, there was a fairly rapid decline in the "quality" of the environs. One member of our group hesitated going further but I convinced her to walk the last 200 feet to the restaurant. All of us were grateful we did. We were seated on the lovely patio which despite to 100+ degree heat was kept comfortable with efficient misters. Despite there being six of us, we managed to each order a different special from and enjoyed sharing the unusual favors. No mixes or canned spices here; everything freshly made in the glass enclosed kitchen for all to see. It would be worth the drive from the south end of the Strip to downtown just to enjoy this wonderful restaurant

“As good as the hype”
Reviewed June 6, 2013

We had read some reviews about this part of Las Vegas having a revival of sorts and while it is still hit and miss we were happy to find that Le Thai was as good as the reviews stated. We shared a lunch here as the portions are large and weren't disappointed with our vegetarian noodle stirfry.

The serving staf was helpful and kind and she said they get a huge crows most evenings so lunch is a good way to sample their food without a wait.

“Your restaurant choice in downtown Las Vegas”
Reviewed June 6, 2013

If you are touring downtown Las Vegas, the Fremont Street District, then this is your casual dinner choice. It is located in the East Fremont District and is a short walk down Fremont Street from the downtown casino area. I highly recommend eating there multiple times as the food and beverage is great. The only negative is if you arrive during sound check time for the neighboring bar, then the sound check noise can be aggrevating. This is a casual atmosphere, which is preferred by many in the downtown area, and the food is great.

“Authentic Thai food”
Reviewed June 6, 2013

Le Thai is located on Fremont Street East. It is a short walk from covered area but well worth it. By Las Vegas standards, the food is not cheap but the portions are huge and worth the money. This is not Thai/American food but real Thai food that you would get on the streets in Bangkok. It is very delicious and spicy. It is always crowded and filled with people and the owner is the cook. Take the walk and spice up you life.
