I just love it, and so did my friends.

Thanksgiving night, we were 4 guys eating at this lovely Fogo restaurant.

Got seated, were served some great redwine in the mid price range, and then the party started.

Turkey wrapped in bacon, fillet mignon, sausages, chorizo, you name it. Fogo is so much worth it, if you''re a meat lover.

I'll come back, for sure. I just love the concept!

Thanksgiving didn't treat us very well, long story, suffice it to say this restaurant is what got my spouse out the dog house, temporarily. Plans fell through left and right, which left us wandering along Flamingo Road near Fogo de Chao. We went in and they were able to seat us (early 50s couple and teen son) within 10 minutes. Plenty of staff on hand made us feel very welcome and explained how things worked. A large self serve salad bar, complete with rice, beans and potatoes along with salad makings, prepared salads and wonderful meats and cheeses started our meal. I liked the sun dried tomatoes, basalmic pearl onions and Italian sausage while spouse liked pickled mushrooms. Side dishes served to the table were mashed potatoes, a little bland, crispy (deep fried) polenta and caramelised bananas (not a cooked banana fan). The real star of the show were the meats, tender and cooked to perfection . Half of the fun was havung the meats carved from their skewers right on to your plate. The filet mignon literally melted in your mouth, while the other beef choices were wonderfully flavourful. The bacon wrapped turkey was a nice touch on the holiday. The sausage was just so-so and we ran out of room before tasting the pork. For dessert we shared a flan, very dense and not too sweet as well as a papaya cream, again flavourful and not too sweet. It was the perfect way to end the meal. The staff was very attentive and accommodating, bringing more polenta and barbecue sauce. A fun experience, we went away happily full and definitely on a protein high. Dinner was expensive, but for the holiday, a novelty meal and quality of beef, money well spent.

A must try if you're in the Vegas area. Located about five minutes off the strip (around Bally's). Basically it's an "all you can eat" meat fest and salad bar. The restaurant is very nice but accepts casual dress. There is a nice all you can eat salad bar and the waiters will come to your tables with spits of different types of meat and slice off pieces onto your plate as fast as you can eat them. They are all cooked on a vertical spit and TASTY. Side dishes are also provided which include garlic mashed potatos, carmalized bananas and a sort of a french fry frit. They also provided different sauces for your meat and if you like spicy, ask for the Jalapeno one!

No trip to Las Vegas is complete for us without a stop at Fogo De Chao.

The meats are of course, to die for. But what surprised me is they've made the salad bar even better. New offerings including rice, beans, potatoes make it a very viable option for the inevitable non-meat eaters in any group. We're even considering it for some time when we might want to go meatless... And then there is the cheese buns, fried bananas, polenta and mashed potatoes for the table. THIS time we even made it to dessert and the key lime pie was killer!

Unfortunately we won't be back in Las Vegas for a couple of months. And of course, we'll be back at Fogo.

As usual, another reliable Fogo establishment.
Beautifully decored, clean and efficient service. And the meat just keeps coming!! The caipirinhas are superb and moreish but I have to stop at 3!! Otherwise it spoils the meal.
Save space for the papaya cream after the meat... Heavenly.
