“We've eaten at this restaurant under prior management”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

it wasn't nearly as good back then. The current owners (surprisingly from China) has taken it to a whole new and improved level. The food is reasonably authentic with slight room for improvement. Service was warm and friendly with good suggestions made, the owners speak Cantonese and are a joy to work with if you are fluent in that dialect. We dined there twice on our latest trip to Sin City, we had their Curry Sea Bass, their Island Jumbo Prawns and their Sambal Kang Kong. Everything came well prepared and tasty although not as spicy as we're normally used to. Next time we'll ask them to spice it up a notch, they suggested this and for sure we'll do this on our next trip south.

The Jumbo Island Prawns were large and not overcooked, servings were huge. we really had to force feed ourselves in order to clean up our plates and even then we had to leave a few tasty morsels behind. No point taking cooked food back to a hotel room with no microwave, plates or eating utensils. Compared to an ultra popular place like the Lotus Of Siam, there is no comparison, we'd rather come here any time. Way better food and miles better service. Give it a try, it's quiet, you won't have to crawl over broken glass to get a table and you can be sure the food is authentically prepared, served hot and with a smile.

“Best Malaysian food in Vegas and probably in the USA”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

Wow we stumbled upon this place as we were looking for some good Asian food. Read the reviews and decided to try it, it's about a 5 min drive from the strip in Chinatown. The food is unbelievably good, the roti prata was almost the same as in Malaysia, all the dishes we tried including the fish head curry, traditional satay was really really superb. The service was also very good and it was not so expensive as well.

“True Malaysian Cuisine”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

One of the few authentic Malaysian restaurant that I have come across in the States. Family run and very warm service. Food is very up to par (not gourmet but more like home cooking) with a very extensive menu. I am sure you will find something you like if you enjoy Malaysian Food.

“Out of the way, but worth the trip.”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

We went here on a recommendation of a friend, and we not disappointed. Small family run place, but great food. Singapore noodles are awesome, and the roti is excellent. I love finding places like this. In the heart of Chinatown. (Didn't know there was a Chinatown in Vegas.)

“Delicious malaysian cuisine”
Reviewed June 18, 2012

Food is delicious and similar to Penang (our favorite malaysian place in philly chinatown). No frills with an extensive menu, reasonable pricing and knowledgeable waitress. Service was quick and we loved topping off the evening with some fresh coconut juice!
