“Great Fun!”

My boys and I each drove a dune buggy for two hours through the Mojave Desert, and we had a blast. The equivalent of two hours on a roller coaster, so if you don't like roller coasters or you have a bad bad back, don't do it. 50 degree weather was fine, but wear gloves and wear clothes that you don't mind getting filthy in the middle of your vacation. Helpful and friendly staff. Can't wait to go again.

“Best in Vegas, weather permitting.”

So the buggys have no glass in them at all. Don't schedule your run till its a week or so out and you know that you won't get soaked and you won't get baked. 95 degrees is too hot, 105 would be crazy.

I went in December, it was in the 60s, I had a great time. It's cool, its different, its worth every penny. It's more like a moto track than a sand dune. There are ramps and walls and jumps and drops and you have to keep your car under control while sliding this way and that, its a great activity.

“Adrenalin pumping!”

Our shuttle picked us up straight from our hotel before taking us back to their office where we were able to lock up our valuables and were geared up and briefed about what to expect. We were then put into another bus which looks like it is about to fall apart inside and out but it drives back and forth between the dunes so you just have to go with it (It didn't bother me but it might bother others)! This was my first buggy experience so I wasn't sure what to expect but I loved every minute of it! It was absolutely amazing! I would of happily done another half hour but it is a little on the pricey side. Tips: ladies wear your hair up (maybe a low ponytail as you have to wear a helmet) and wear a t-shirt not a singlet/tank top so that the straps of the buggy don't rub. Highly recommend!!

“Beautiful Area to 4 wheel & nice guides”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 18, 2012

We went on a 4 wheeler tour of the Valley of Fire with the guys and gals from Sun Buggy. They picked us up on time at our hotel and took us to their main shop not far from the strip. We picked up our gear and rode another hour to the Valley of Fire. Both our guides were very nice and took us on a lovely tour through one part of the Valley. The only thing that wasn't top notch was the equipment. All of our 4 wheelers ran fine but were very beat up. The couple that went with us rented a dune buggy and it broke right away. Luckily they had brought a second one so they switched out and completed the tour. The helmets and goggles were "stinky and gross" according to the girls that were with us. We had a good time and got some great photos of the rocks, the petroglyphs and even some big horn sheep.
