This hotel was a great value and walking distance to the strip - Rooms were spacious and clean, large bathroom, kitchenette, and sitting area. Some room decor is a bit dated but room was very clean. Lobby, casino, other common areas updated and nice. The casino is small but still adequate. Walked to the strip every day, the walk took about 10 mintues - in some places the sidewalk was a bit narrow and traffic goes pretty fast. We found walking on the opposite side of the street, same side at Bill's Gambling Hall, was a bit safer because of wider sidewalks. There are three restaurants at Tuscany and we were given BOGO coupons at check-in. Marilyn's Cafe and Tuscany Gardens were good but The Cantina was by far our favorite, the food, service and portions were excellent. There are also several nice restaurants, Lawry's, Morton's, PF Changs, etc in walking distance.

The only negative we experienced was in the pool/hot tub area. We were looking forward to enjoying the hot tub. The pool area is lovely and on the first night, we swam in the pool and relaxed in the hot tub...apparently, the chemicals in the hot tub were so strong that it burned our skin (which lasted for several days) and ruined our swimsuits...completely bleached out all the color and they were not cheap suits. The chemicals didn't smell overly stong at the time. We showered off after using the hot tub but the burn started showing up about 30 mintues after we were back in our room and was very intense by the next morning. Had to visit Walgren's to get something to curb the burning and try to heal our skin.

We would stay here again but check with the maintenance staff regarding the hot tub before jumping in.

Nothing fancy, but the rooms were simply huge and the price was great. Carpet was a little worn. Got discount coupons for the restaurants. Just a few short blocks away from the strip; easily walkable.

We stayed at the Tuscany for one night during our trip to Vegas. We wanted to try a different hotel. The reception area was quite nice, smaller than most Vegas hotels, cozy and tastefully decorated. The pool area looked awesome, however we staying in November and it was chilly. There is Free Hi- Speed Internet in the lobby and main areas, but not in the rooms. The room was large- it had a dinette area with a microwave and a mini-frig for your use. The bathrooms were also huge, with a separate shower. The room needed a little overhauling- the tile in the shower needed recaulking, and the sofa and chair were a little beat up. But the bed was VERY comfortable and a good nights sleep in Vegas is a must if you wish to play hard. I would recommend this to a family/group in need of a larger room.

Nice location.
Not very scenic of a walk...but can walk to the strip in less than 10 minutes.
Big roooms. Lap pool back at fitness center no one will tell you about.
Main pool is very nice and well kept.
Casino is small but has what you need.
Plenty of taxis out front most of the time.
$10 resort fee.

Our Vegas Vacation was as cheap as chips. We spent two weeks at the Tuscany whereby simply signing up with a Players Card, we did not pay for one full meal, we purchased hundreds of dollars of merchandise at the Gift Shop for free and they still gave us $100 for the privelidge when we left. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is not far to The Strip and we walked through Bally's when about half way - which has shops, restaurants etc. The four restaurants at the Tuscany are all great and the service throughout the complex is overwhelming. Nothing is too much trouble. We loved our holiday and would book into the Tuscany if ever in this part of the World again.

This is as nice of place to relax that you could find for the price. Every room a suite. Treed walkways troughout. Great Casino with very good rewards club. Resterauntes on site from cheap to Expensive. Nice pool and Exercise center. Quite off strip but close. Elevators were very slow , but no buildings over 3 stories. Rooms were 19.00 a night ( SUITES!) Found a new home away from home.

This hotel seemed Ok for what I was looking for. I was in Vegas for work and did not want to be on the strip. The original price seemed good therefore I booked my two-night stay. What a joke. First I was told there was a resort fee or $10/day for the telephone, spa, fitness center, and pool. I said great as I was not going to use any of those things. Guess what? I was charged $10/day. Next was early check-in. I realize most hotels now have a 3:00PM check-in as I stay in hotels 100+ days each year, but to charge someone for wanting to check-in a 2:20PM is crazy. I'm OK with a fee if I try to check in at 8:00AM but to charge an extra $12 plus tax for and extra 40 minutes, unbelievable. So now my $70 fare is over $90 and I have yet to receive a room key. The rooms are old but nice and big. The towels stink very bad and the grout in the bathroom is broken and missing everywhere. The beds have huge dips in them as the mattresses have never been replaced or turned but the best thing about this hotel is the little visitors you get when the lights go out. I always figured one would see bedbugs or a least feel them if your being bit. Not so. I woke up with small groups of bites all over my back and sides. I was extremly freaked-out. Enjoy this hotel if you are an extremly lonely person and you wants lots or little friends late at night cause those little fellows really liked me.
