“Price considered... I would stay here again”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2013

Small, in Vegas, is better. This hotel is two blocks from the strip... next to Bally's, the Flamingo and the wonderful Bellagio. IF you go big in Vegas you have huge properties and long check in/out lines.... The Bellagio has 4000 rooms so do the math. Plus you can't escape the crowds. At the Tuscany we were checked-inn promptly. This hotel property is laid out in multiple three story buildings. The rooms are very large, clean and comfortable (3 stars plus). Each has a kitchen area, living area, lots of large towels and a comfortable bed. Thus, we found a great place in a convient location to explore the strip. Recommended. NOTE: Ask for the top 3rd floor rooms... much quieter.

Room Tip: Ask for the third story rooms

I was skeptical about this place, as the price for a 600 sq. ft. room was so reasonable; however, I am familiar with LV and knew it was in a nice, convenient location (just a block off the Strip.) I was so pleasantly surprised. This place is like an oasis in Las Vegas. The inside is beautiful, the casino is tastefully decorated as are the restaurants. The room was the great surprise. There is a desk area, a sitting area with couch, chair, table and TV, then the beds and a large bathroom. On top of that there is a small kitchen area with dining table! The beds were comfortable, and the place was quiet. In my opinion, there is no better deal in Vegas.

The location was good if you have a car. Hotel and grounds were well maintained but the room had a sewer smell until after the shower was used. The bathroom could use some updating. The sink and toilet were well worn. The room was spacious but seemed cold. The bed was good. Be sure to request a room away from Flamingo Road. Very noisy at night even into the very late hours. Marilyn's Restaurant was good for breakfast and the price was good. The resort fee is a joke. Just another way to raise the room price. I was not impressed.

Room Tip: Away from Flamingo Road

The hotel is in a great location (about 10 - 15 minute walk from the Strip), it's buildings were secure, shower was hot, and beds very comfortable. The kitchenette had a sink, coffee maker (with 3 packets of coffee "pods"), plastic cups, and a fridge--nothing else (so bring your own plates and silverware if you'll need them!). My room faced the street, but I didn't feel that it was very noisy. Large and well equipped fitness center.

The downsides: very slow check in, no curtain around the bathtub, the fan in the bathroom didn't work, very noisy from guests in the hallway and in the room above, and the floor wasn't as clean as it should have been.

The room was massive... everything felt dwarfed by the sheer size of the room, even the king-size bed!

Tuscany Suites will always be my first choice when visiting Las Vegas because of their location, large suites, secure parking and wonderful food in Marilyns Cafe. They are just a short walk to the heart of the strip without the strip prices, nice grounds with several pools and a gym.

The rooms here are big and clean. The bathrooms are also big, with a separate shower stall and tub. The living/kitchen areas also has a couch, dining table, and mini-fridge. The buildings housing the rooms are separate from the main casino, in low-rise apartment-style buildings. They provide you with a map during check-in, but it would be better if the buildings were labeled more clearly as well. There's plenty of parking and the walk to your room doesn't take too long. I didn't bring my swimming trunks, but I noticed that they had a long pool that's perfect for doing laps.

We had a problem with drain stopper in the bathroom sink getting stuck. I called the maintenance line and they came to fix it while we were out. Great service.

A few negatives...the casino building is on the older side, with poor ventilation. Our clothes smelled like cigarette smoke just after being there for 10-20 minutes during check-in. We didn't spend any time there, though, other than check-in and check-out. They also charge a resort fee. Everyone hates these, but they're difficult to avoid at a casino hotel in Vegas...
Overall we had a very good stay.

We stayed here twice, the rooms are spacious and the linens are soft and cuddly. The suites and casino are about 15 walk to the "strip" The casino is not crowed and much more to our liking. The pools are nice and clean. Restaurants, are restaurants, two inexpensive and one fine dining.
I would recommend this but go on kayak or hotels.com and book for the best rate. The hotel will try and get the highest rate. I got it for $55 one night and about $80 the other on line, the hotel wanted over $200 each night. The is a $15 dollar Vegas tax charge, some web sights include it in the charge most do not and it needs to be paid at check so make sure you are aware if you have paid it or not.
This was an Awesome quieter suite and casino of the beaten path
