We travel out West once a year, hike around Utah, Az, Nv, Not a resort trip at all and we love absorbing in Native American culture. One of the downsides in flying into and out of Law Vegas which we do for the economics and to pick up a Jeep. I was plunking around on the internet for REAL Native American jewelry Shops, old pawn , authentic type, and found this shop. It is a MESS ( in an exciting, quirky way), dark, crowded, Cute as heck in an "old antique shop way." We antique a lot and when we walk into an antique shop like this our adrenaline soars....there are long cases lining the store, the owner was buried in the back, shouted out a greeting.
You will find: turquoise dust and chips in mayonnaise and baby food jars, old pawn rings from $20.00(!!!!), Gorgeous squash necklaces, handcrafted belt buckle, pendants, earnings, cuffs/bracelets, bolos, knives, artifacts....and list goes on. They also make beaded pieces on site.
The staff can size on site, they are really casual, don't clean the purchase, pack it up in boxes and put it in a zip loc bag!! They ARE willing to bargain RESPECTIVELY. NOT pushy staff and very knowledgeable. Prices are unreal for the real McCoy, quality, especially for Las Vegas!!!
One of our new favorites and have passed it onto our friends!! we walked out of there with 4 rings, a bracelet and belt buckle for what we would have paid for a 1/5 of that elsewhere.....and we know our stuff!!!
