“Death Valley and Red Rock Canyon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2013

We took Annie Bananie's custom tour for Death Valley and Red Rock Canyon from Las Vegas. Buck from Annie Bananie was our tour guide and he was just marvellous. He knows every place in and around these places and it was a complete fun having visiting the places with him.
Without knowing we just surfed the internet and found few points to visit but Buck was splendid, and he took us to many places in Death Valley and Red Rock Canyon those are very good and are not shown on net too.
I recommend Annie Bananie's tour if anyone is interested to visit Death Valley or surrounding areas near Las Vegas. The other plus point visiting with this tour is they never rush to complete the tour and always says it's your tour, so what ever you want to see we will take you there.

“Really outstanding”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 12, 2012

My family faced two options: get out of Las Vegas or go insane. We went with the former.

The concierge at the Marriott Grand Chateau recommended Annie Bananie, and not having any other information, we signed up for their tour of the Valley of Fire. There was some confusion about the pickup, which delayed us twenty minutes, but then everything went VERY smoothly. A couple was waiting in the van for us, so we were five in total. Roger was an awesome guide, brimming with information, observations and recommendations. He took note of my dad's limited hearing and went far out of his way to make sure he felt included. He knew all the right stops and photo opportunities (and which ones to avoid!) The Valley of Fire is objectively beautiful, but Roger's insights, from botany to historic anecdotes, helped us appreciate it far more than otherwise. Lunch was simple and adequate. We continue to remark that the highlight of our trip to Las Vegas didn't actually happen in Las Vegas!

“Amazing Day!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2012

My boyfriend and I decided on the Red Rock Deluxe Tour. We made reservations the day before and were accommodated. We ended up being the only people on the tour-which I was a little nervous that they might cancel but they didn't and I am so glad. Buck was our tour guide and he did an amazing job. It took about 45 minutes from our hotel to get the Red Rock NCA. The entire trip Buck gave us information about Las Vegas, Red Rock NCA etc. He is very knowledgeable and was able to answer every question that we had. He was more than willing to stop if we saw wildlife or if we wanted to get out and take a picture. Our first official stop was at the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area Visitor's Center. They have a great display around back and a nice gift shop! We then proceeded to travel the 13 mile scenic loop through the NCA. We made 5 stops and were able to get out walk/hike around a little and take lots of pictures. The next part of our tour took us to Bonnie Springs Old West Town. I was really exicted about this --- I love everything old west. We were there for about an hour and a half and enjoyed the melodrama, gun shoot out, and hanging. When we were ready to leave Buck was waiting with the air conditioning blasting and lunch ready for us. We then proceeded to Spring Mountain Ranch were we ate lunch. I would have never known this was there if it wasn't for the tour. It is an oasis in the desert. People were lounging on grass (!!) and under trees. We enjoyed a great picnic lunch which was provided. We spend about an hour here enjoying nature and the house museum. Finally we took a tour of the close town of Blue Diamond, Buck showed us the gypsum factory---my boyfriend was interested in this. We saw a bunch of donkeys grazing on grass---even Buck got out to take pictures. We were then whisked back to our hotel. Buck gave us great information and really added a lot to the day! All of the park fares/entrance fees were paid by them so we didn't have to worry about paying for that on top of the tour fee. We had a great day and this experience really made our trip. We would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone. When we came back to Vegas we will be sure to check out their other tours. Don't miss this great experience!!!

“Escape the casinos and see the beauty of the Mojave”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2011

We took the Red Rock Canyon tour and it was lovely. Buck was very knowlegable about the history, the flora and fauna of the Mohave Desert. We contemplated renting a car and driving there ourselves, but it was nice to meet up with fellow desert sightseers. Next time we will probably go on the Valley of Fire tour as it was the location where the Anastasi dwelled. Worth not having to drive, though it would have been nice to be able to take a hike among the wonderful sand and limestone formations. It was a great respite from the strip.
