Description: Rí Rá Irish Pub epitomizes a true Irish pub experience. A comfortable neighborhood environment where conversation flows as smoothly as Guinness ebbs in the glass. Constructed from a pub meticulously restored in Ireland then shipped to Las Vegas, it’s a hotspot for locals and visitors alike, offering an impressive line-up of live music, a comprehensive drink list and fare that defies pub standards.

“potato cakes are to die for.”

We ate lunch and breakfast here. The food was delicious. The fish and chips are the best, along with the potato cakes!

BE SURE TO ORDER A DRINK CALLED THE "SMOKING GUN." IT'S FUN TO WATCH THEM MAKE IT. THEY INFUSE THE DRINK WITH SMOKE! I had a smoked salmon appetizer that was some of the best salmon I have ever eaten...bar none. The dinner menu looked intriguing but we had to meet friends elsewhere

“Good pub”

Nice beers but try the chicken wings. Woooo, they are very spicy and we did not have the most powerful!

“Feels like you are in Ireland”
Reviewed July 12, 2013

We ate dinner here with a friend and had a really nice time. Gives off the vibe of being in Ireland. Service is good, not great. We all had the fish and chips which were good. It was a very large portion if not really hungry, you might want to consider sharing it.

“Corporate bar with a bunch of Irish stuff and lackluster food”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

We had some time to kill at Mandalay Bay before a concert, so we decided to take advantage of the 40% off food offer for locals (Fridays only). Now, I've been to Ireland and to pubs in Ireland, and I've been to Irish-themed pubs and bars in the States. Ri Ra may call itself an Irish pub, but it's really a corporate enterprise that has the money to buy and transport a bunch of architectural salvage from Ireland to give it an "authentic" experience.

The food was so-so, bordering on bad. My husband had the Dubliner burger, and it was so bad he couldn't finish it. I had the Guinness BBQ burger, and it tasted just like a Carl's Jr. Western Bacon Cheeseburger, minus the bacon. Each burger was $13.95, and the handful of fries we added to our order was an additional $2 each. The burgers were no larger than burgers you'd get at In-N-Out, but nowhere near as tasty.

Architecturally, Ri Ra is nice. Our server was a decent fellow, but he left us sitting several times and it took longer than average for our order or our check. Even with 40% off the food, it wasn't worth the visit. I'd place it firmly in the "tourist trap themed eatery" category.
