All over it was a goog experience but I gave three stars cause there is only one pool at the resort it wasn't enough for four building especially on the weekend and there was no wifi almost all the time.The wifi was so bad.it tells you the signal is good but no internet access.More

This is a very nice resort. A short walk to great eating places yet off the strip so very quiet . We had a strip view from our balcony of the MGM, Luxor and Manadalay bay. Renovations have made the pool area a very inviting space. We will come back to this resort again.
In my opinion, it is rated as a Gold Crown Resort because it is owned by the same company that owns RCI. Its proximity to The Strip and complementary Mimosas are it's only perks. It has a nice, but small pool. I had to ask for the green water in the hot tub be changed, which they did quickly.

Have just got back from a fantastic holiday in Las Vegas, the desert Rose Resort is a great hotel to stay in, the one bedroom apartment we stayed in had everything we needed the staff were all pleasant and helpful we even received a call in the room to check if it had been cleaned.
I went with my dad and two teenage daughters we all felt safe there as you have to use your room key to get into the different blocks and pool, also the gates around the apartment buildings can only be opened if you have a car so only people staying there can get in and out.
There is a small shop that sells snacks and drinks, you can buy milk from the bar and as for food shopping we used Walgreens and cvs which you can get to on the Las Vegas Monorail, the neatest station to the hotel is at the mgm Grand and that’s only a 10 to 15 minute walk.
The next time I come to Las Vegas I will definitely be staying here again.
The facilities and price are great. We had an early flight and went in to ask if we could get an early check-in. The lady at the desk promised to call us when our room was ready. We killed nearly the whole day and finally were so exhausted we went back in (1 hour before check-in time) a different lady told us "oh yeah, your room is ready." she made it sound like the room had been ready for a while. Why no call as promised? Then one morning there was drilling outside of our room to the point the dishes were rattling in the cabinets. I called the desk & asked how long this would be going on. I was told it was guys trimming trees. I told her this was not tree trimming. She said she would come down and check it out. She calls back to tell us it was the tree trimmers. When we were leaving we could see a guy that seemed to be cutting a sprinkler out of a ceiling in an exterior hallway outside of our room. When we returned to the room there was plaster on the stovetop, so it was not tree trimmers. This is a nice facility about a block away from the strip. It was challenging to walk to the strip at times because it was so hot so we Ubered a lot. The room had a coffee pot and provided coffee. There were plenty of plates and cups. No icemaker but ice machines in the hallways. I would recommend this place but if you get in early call back to check because they won't honor what they tell you.

This is a quaint and quiet place to stay in the shadow of the Hooters tower just off the main drag in Las Vegas. Our unit had a full kitchen, nice bed, bathroom and porch. The pool was clean and relaxing. The ice machine was not convenient but you can make make your own in the room. We had a great time.
