“Another pleasant stay”
Reviewed October 31, 2012

This is the third year running that my friends and I have stayed at the Desert Rose.We are greeted by the staff as old friends and nothing is too much trouble, from registration, helpful advice from the concierge, breakfast with a good choice of drinks, fresh fruit, breads and oatmeal, yogurt, eggs, bacon sausage. The standard of housekeeping in the apartment was excellent and the fully equiped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge freezer, large cooker and micro wave and all the dishes you would need was excellent. The pool area is a wonderful facility, a peaceful haven in the heated pool. All in all a wonderful resort with wonderful staff.

Room Tip: A room overlooking the pool.

my husband and I recently spent 4 wonderful days at Desert Rose Resort. The property was clean and well kept.
The breakfast each morning was very nice.
Our king size bed was a pillow top, and was actually more comfortable than our pillow top at home.
The staff were all very helpful and always willing to help...

unlike most places you stay, there was absolutely no outside noises heard. Very peaceful.
The pool and hot tub were wonderful and clean.
It was nice being OFF the strip ( only by a block and a half) but close enough to walk.

we stayed in the desert rose it was great a really large apartment away from the madness thats the strip, so many of the Big hotels have so many rooms and gambling machines that the stay in the desert rose was so relaxing and just a short walk to the MGM and the use of the monorail. The staff were friendly and we couldn't fault anything.

I was surprised there was a kitchen and a big refrigerator. The room provided glass cups. The front desk service staff was helpful and caring. Walking distance to the strip and the music fountain. There were even stoves and a sink. Free breakfast could've been better by providing sausages and beacons

Booked a great deal through expedia for this hotel, could not beat it for value and size. I travelled with my Mum and my 2 girls, aged 8 and 11 and there was plenty of room for all of us. Breakfast and happy hour were both good, staff were helpful. Good location, just off the strip but close enough to the action. Not glitzy and glamerous but comfortable and practical. Only small complaint was the noise from the room above but this did seem to be common in all of the hotels we stayed in, in the US, perhaps ask for a room on the top floor.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the top floor for a good night's sleep

Excellent and professional. Great Hotel just off the Vegas strip. Only 2 blocks away or less, but quiet and peaceful and short walking distance from all the Vegas action. Good breakfast every morning, all you can eat, and a
5 pm happy hour that includes free drinks for hotel guest and food. Be sure to tip the bar tender however. I have been there twice and plan to stay there in June next year again. The beds and pillows are the best and all the rooms are very nice. This hotel is a gem at an affordable price with a very professional staff to serve all of your needs. An information desk can help you plan your Vegas trip and provide you everything you want to know about all the Vegas shows, the casino's and all other events and attractions. The pool, hot tub, and the gym with treadmills offer nice amenities. Ed

Really enjoyed staying here. The apartments had everything you would need and the staff were really helpful with local knowledge. The continental breakfast was a bonus and although it got a bit busy we were always able to find a seat eventually. The Manager's special was a surprise as we thought it would just be nuts and nibbles etc but there was hot snacks such as tacos and wraps as well. Free coffee was also on offer 27/7.
Although some of the bigger hotels looked really nice it was lovely to come back to the Desert Rose for some peace and quiet.
Would definitely stay here again.(Some of the people we talked to had stayed here before in double figures.)
