“Nice Place”
Reviewed July 24, 2012

I recently stayed here with friends. One friend has a timeshare so we were able to get a deal to stay here. It was great because it was close to the strip - you can easily walk to MGM, but without the sort of chaos of the strip. Parking is easy and plenty. The rooms are spacious with kitchenettes. The pool area is nice and relaxing too.

I would definitely stay here again. Look for deals to stay here though.

Room Tip: There isn't much of a view from this hotel, but what you don't get in a view, you get a litt...

The perfect place to stay in Las Vegas if you want a little peace and quiet but close to MGM, New York New York etc. Four of us stayed here in atwo bedroom unit, spacious with an en-suite and house bathroom, comfy with amenities to cook yrself or order take out. Cooked breakfast and continental, small pool but ample enough open til 11pm or so, 5 min to walk to the strip, Having stayed at other hotels in vegas such as Treasure Island, this was a pleasent surprise, i was recommended by somone who only stays here, im quite aware why now.

We booked 2 bedroom suite which was very comfortable. Breakfast was minimal but suffice. Evening Managers Reception was a bit chaotic but who could complain with free beer and wine!!! Handy to the strip but we weren't affected by noise or traffic. Would definitely stay here again as opposed to being in the mayhem of the Strip

This is the best ,by far, of the hotels with kitchenette were me and my wufe have stayed.
We have travelled through many states in the U.S.,Canada, to Central and South America and the Caribbean, including Puerto Rico , were we come from, and this has been our best experience. We had booked at another hotel in Vegas ( won't tell where) and had to move quickly from it. Glad we did. Rooms of desert Rose are like a beautifully furnished apartment. exquisite full kitchen. Dishwasher , blender, lots of pots and pans... you name it. A/C was super good, considering the time of our visit (july 9-11 , 2012). Excellent staff, and very friendly too.
They even had a full breakfast. Price was reasonable. Good security between parking lot and rooms. If we return to Vegas we would not hessitate to stay again in this resort. Yes, we highly recommend it to anybody, couples and family alike. Very satisfied.

Room Tip: Rooms away from the lobby if you want more quietness.

We recently stayed at the Desert Rose, as it was the pick up point for our White Water rafting trip.
The rooms are a bit dated, however the hotel is quiet, & well set up for Families (no pokies !). It is only a 10 minute walk & you are in the middle of the strip, which means you can immerse yourself in the Vegas scene & come back to a more sedate environment. It all depends on what you are after. The breakfast has a good set of food options & is a reasonable quality. The rooms aare not fancy, but serve the purpose of a good practical place to stay. Overall good value for money

This is a real gem for people who want a bit of peace and quiet during their stay in Vegas while still wanting to be close to the action. The resort is a 5 min walk off the southern end of the strip with bus stops to other parts of the city also very close. The rooms are are great - not luxury but very comfortable and spacious. Bedroom, living room and kitchen with all the mod-cons. The bathroom was a little small compared to the rest of the rooms. There is free basic but tasty breakfast which was served in the busy hotel lobby - a few more seats would have been great.
The hotel has also a small pool and laundry facilities.
I would like to make a special mention of the excellent service of all the staff and especially the concierge who organised our concert tickets and all i did was send her an email. Fantastic service.
I would definitely stay here again.
