Where to start with this review, I love this hotel. Few things in particular to mention:
- The night auditor there, Debra, is the BEST! I came in at an awkward hour where all of the phone apps for that nights booking had already closed but I wanted to get the good last minute deals. She was able to get me a good rate while I waited for time to pass to check in around 1am. meanwhile- I went to the bar in the casino area where I enjoyed 1$ strong drinks and winning video pokers. Once checked in I returned to find some friendly fellow slot players winning away. The food court has good chicken wings, BLTS, and pizza, open random hours you find yourself needing something good to eat. They play the best 80s music throughout the hotel and you can tell that this historical place has seen some of the best of the best- and the coolest of the cool. The bellman were quick to help and were great as well. I always try to get a room at this hotel when the prices are good. hotel tonight app usually hooks it up, and if not available, their direct Riviera hotel website offers a low priced mobile rate. Very convenient hotel- underrated for its authenticity.

Fremont Street has certainly changed over the years, but the Golden Nugget has maintained the luxury and quality that I expected.

We had fun. The slots actually paid off. What more can you say. Most places are just corporate casinos that take you money. Not true at the golden nugget. Worth trying your luck ! If you get board you can always check out Fremont street. This is a taste of true Vegas !

if you are3 ever in las vegas and want to visit what they call old town, you must stop in at the golden nugget. we have never stayed at the hotel, but the casino is a nice experience. things are a little bit tighter than on the strip, but nice nonetheless

Was staying next door at the RIO and did not like their casino so I walked over to the Nugget to play Blackjack. Found a bunch of tables playing 2-deck version with $5 minimum., Dealers were friendly; waitress was friendly; this made most of the players friendly too. BTW, the prime-rib buffet there is pretty good and if you sign up for a free players card you save $3
