“Club Oasis Inside of the Hilton Casino- The Best Music in Vegas!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 11, 2012

Finally Vegas has a spot where you could listen to some decent music!!! Club Oasis is an open space inside of the Hilton Casino where there is old school r&b and hip hop music played. I believe it is hosted by an outside entertainment company on fridays and saturdays where the DJ is from one of the radio stations out there...i want to say 88.1 fm- but don't quote me on that. The music at this place is the best! It's refreshing to go to a spot in Vegas where you feel confident that the music is going to be great for dancing and listening, because if you're like me...fist pumping gets very old and tiring after a while. It appeared that the crowd was about 27 and up. Check this spot out we all had the best time ever! Oh yeah, the cherry on top was fact that it was free and drinks were reasonably priced!!!!!

“Not the casino, just the show”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2011

I'm sorry to write a negative review, but the Body to Soul show starring Rick Faugno is not very good. He left "Jersey Boys", where he played Frankie Valli, to star in his own show in the Shimmer Theater at the Hilton Las Vegas. He was excellent in the play, but his vocals in this show were tremendously lacking. He chose songs that were not all that familiar with the general audience and his phrasing left one to wonder just what was going on with the song as it became almost unrecognizable. At times, he sounded as if the key was too high and he needed to screech. He did have very good dancing skills, however, and his band was very talented. I really wanted this to be a great show and had high expectations that it would be, but was terribly disappointed. Perhaps a whole new revamp including more mainstream songs would save this show. Sorry.

“16 rooms for 2 nights for a family of 3.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 11, 2011

The rooms are same as of any other 3 star hotel, nothing fancy and exceptional. The only thing which stands out in my mind when i think about Hilton is Beware of your money.
Had booked a room for my small family of 3 for the 2 nights stay through their own website..it was easy process, got the type of room wanted etc . eezy breezy. The policies told will charge my card for one night stay in advance. OK.
Got confirmation mail for the room booked... and was done.
The real problem started when the check in day came and the receptionist was surprised to see 16 room bookings on my name...so she said it was a mistake..so she will cancel the remaining 15 transactions.
This never happened i think...my credit card ppl raised an issue and it was closed saying the customer should have cancelled the 15 transactions within 48 hrs of check in.
How in the world i wud suppose to know abt the charges when i got confirmation mail for only one room booked. its been already 2 months the money is still not put back in to my account.
So folks henceforth while booking with Hilton...just call and confirm once before u check in.

Not to mention the food court and Go green facility was good.
But whatever good we experienced in the hotel has overtaken by the enormous bill of 16 rooms :(

“Far from one of the better casinos of Vegas....”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 21, 2009

For a major hotel (3,000+ bedrooms), the casino on offer here leave an awful lot to be desired.

In terms of table games, I could find only three or four roulette tables (with only one of these being the fairer European Roulette), a couple (or perhaps only one) of Craps tables and about 20 - maybe fewer - Poker and Blackjack tables. The bulk of the casino floor was given up to slots.

The jackpots seemed low on the slots and I didn't play any of them.

The dealers didn't offer the same level of "banter" as I've enjoyed at many of the city's other major (and minor) casinos and in terms of the free drinks..... well.... it was like getting blood from a stone.

I was offered only ONE drink - free or otherwise - while I was sitting at the tables. And I was spending a lot of money (enough to have a Casino host pull me aside and present me with his business card).

A disappointing casino that could do a LOT MORE BUSINESS if it were updated and equipped with more table games. This is a huge hotel property lacking the appeal it takes to keep guests at the in-house casino. I suspect a lot of LVH guests drop their money down on The Strip.
