“Old school and nostalgic.. A must see even just once”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 17, 2013

Las Vegas downtown has a cool covering, old casinos, mob museum,etc... It gets a little seedier at night and the food is a down grade from the main strip.

“Mob Museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2013

Went to downtown LasVegas to see the Mob Museum located in the ols PostOffice building (on the historic building). Unlike the 1 on the strip, this lisks the actual incidents,,,pictures / videos and a partial wall from the StValentine's day massacre. There are 3 floors, starting on floor 3.
Takes at least 2.5 hrs if U like to view most items.
On Fremont st. there is now a pulley rope running over the 4 block lite archway. Real good food deals and the food is priced real good, espicially after 4pm...example--Prime Rib for 7.99 at TonyRoma's.
Saw but did not inside the 'HeartAttackGrill' I am only 187 lbs..heard that the unofficial spokesman died at the corner bus-stop. There was the Asian NewYear festivities this past weekend (Feb 8-9,2013) when I was there.
Thanks for reading.

“Always Wanted to go Downtown?”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2013

It was sad to see how old and unkempt the area was. We went to see the light show and visited a few casinos. The food prices appeared to be less expensive than the strip, but the atmosphere wasn't as nice either.

Mostly we found the crowd of visitors and nearby residents to be much like Madi Gras in New Orleans.

“Best place to be”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2013

Downtown Vegas is awesome! It is without a doubt my favorite place to be! I barely even go up to center strip anymore when I visit Vegas, because Downtown is just so cool!

“Las Vegas”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2013

Las Vegas is a very busy town. Lots of people everywhere and lots to see. Watch our for people trying to get you to go to a timeshare or Motel ownership, they promise you lots of goodies but they usually last 3-4 hours. Also the vagrants are very pushy too. Love the musical lights at the Belagio and they run every 1/2 hour. Great place to visit, but very expensive.
