10 of us golfed here on 10/04/13 with an early tee time. Marshalls were on us the entire round. Sometimes this is warranted, but in our case it was absolutely not as we finished 18 in 4:20 exactly. They asked us to start skipping holes and hovered over us on the back nine making for a terrible experience. I am certain this attitude is founded in the fact that they had to close 2 of the 3 courses due to flash flooding and compressed tee times but customers should not have to feel the anxiety. Had a much better outing at Bear's Best and will not go back to Piaute.

Of the 3 courses, Wolf was the hardest to play; however, the layout/scenery/service/and challenge were great for intermediate golfers. The weather also was not too bad at 93 degrees, as I was expecting 100+. Definitely worth playing again given the better bang for the buck for a high-end course, and I will try the other Snow Mountain course.

I have been going to Vegas (mostly for golf) for the past six years, usually in mid-October. I always play two of the three courses here each time (Snow Mountain, Sun Mountain & Wolf). All three are fabulous! Wolf is the most challenging and my favorite. Love the #15 hole, island green! The courses at Paiute are well manicured and greens run true. With five sets of tee boxes, most golfers will be challenged, no matter what handicap you carry. Staff is efficient. Had an excellent lunch here (between rounds) last October (2012). Will be back in two months (mid-Oct 2013). This is a must "play" if you like pure golf, mountains and desert scenery. Easy to get to, about 35 minutes from the "Strip."

Just 30 minutes drive from the Strip, you must not miss out on playing at Paiute if you are golfing in Las Vegas. There are 3 courses - all of them superb. Just played the Wolf Course and it is in beautiful condition. The service at Paiute is excellent and everyone is so friendly and helpful. After your round, sit in the dining room and admire the most spectacular view..

After the great experience and all the friendly staff at TPC Las Vegas the previous day, we arrived at Paiute. The 2 staff at the proshop were probably the 2 most unfriendly staff that we met during our 3 weeks west-USA trip.
After that it got much better; good rental clubs, a nice gentlemen at the first tee (Wolf Course). And then we really enjoyed the round. Amazing to play in the rocky desert, with magnificent green fairways and greens, all in excellent condition.

A great golf course; some improvements to be done on customer service.
