Owner description: Designed by Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley in 2000, the Bali Hai Golf Club is a worthy namesake of the famous Indonesian land of enchantment. The lush surroundings include seven-acres of opulent water features, a total of 4,000 trees with 2,500 stands of towering palms and 100,000 Balinese tropical plants. Transition and out-of-play areas are accented with Augusta white sand and black volcanic rock outcroppings. The par-71 course measures 7,002 yards from the tips and affords spectacular views of the Strip mega-resorts from the fairways. Bali Hai's unique layout includes teasers like #16, a par-3 island green that frequently comes with an audience from the Cili Restaurant patio and #3, a 468 yard par-4 with a creek running the entire right-side, balanced with a bunker on the left. Play #3 and find out why it's called "Shipwreck." Challenging play, breathtaking scenery and first class facilities make Bali Hai a one-of-a-kind golfer's paradise that Golf Digest named one of the "Top 50 Resort Courses". The course was designed to go in like a lamb and out like a lion, meaning that the drama and thrills build as player progress along the course. "We want to give guests an opportunity to loosen up and enjoy their surroundings before we begin challenging their skills," said Brian Curley. "This will be a fun course ... you'll know you've been tested, but it won't beat you to death. It's the kind of golf course you could play day after day and never tire of its charm."

Course is challenging and in wonderful condition. Every employee is friendly yet professional. Food is fresh and tasty; plus there are many indoor & outdoor searing options.
Here's the kicker...locals play for $95 in the summer, and my group finished in just 3.75 hours. What's not to love?

I see it as a tourist trap golf course. It's not a bad course but there are so many better courses in & around Vegas that this one is way over hyped for what you pay.
The positives: service, course is in good shape & has a convenient location.
The negatives: value, the course is nice but it won't blow you away, the noise from the helicopters & airplanes taking off overhead (non-stop).

This is a pretty amazing course that is very accessible from the Strip. Very green and very open - but still very challenging. Course design is amazing and has spectacular views of the desert, strip and mountains. It is expensive but well worth it. You won't be disappointed.

NOTE: Try playing at twilight to save a few bucks

Fun course with awesome views located on Las Vegas Boulevard. The course played fair and is visually stunning. The restaurant Cili was incredible! The food was delicious and the service was top shelf. After lunch we went into the golf shop and bought a few shirts from some of my favorite brands (Travis Mathew and Dunning) and chatted with the friendly guys in the shop. The Golf Shop staff was prompt and happy to help us find the style and size we were searching for. After our was finished the outside service staff called us a cab so we relaxed on the patio with a drink and watched the NBA Finals on the TV's outside. Such an awesome experience and great way to start our vacation in Las Vegas. I will definitely be adding Bali Hai Golf Club to our yearly "Vegas Vacation".

Bali Hai is a great golf course, with over the top service from start to finish. The course was in great shape and at 105 degrees, we really appreciated the water soaked towels on the 15th hole! While it is one of the more expensive courses that I have played, it was a real treat!
