Description: David Walzog, whose chophouse fare continues to make SW Steakhouse at Wynn one of the hottest addresses in town, turns from turf to surf at Lakeside. From this glamorous perch at the water’s edge, the star chef crafts modern cuisine that showcases a deft touch with seafood cooking. Iced Florida stone crab claws and shellfish platters, wood-oven roasted lobsters and ocean-fresh fish anchor the menu here, while prime aged steaks, chops and a succulent prime rib of beef round out the bill of fare. For dessert lovers, pastry chef Kimberly Valdez offers her roving ‘Sweet Cart Named Desire’ – dispensing irresistible desserts, perfect for lingering over while catching the mesmerizing show on Wynn’s Lake of Dreams. Dine indoors or outside on the expansive lakeside terrace. An Oyster Bar Happy Hour is also offered nightly in the bar and lounge. For reservations of parties of 6 or larger, please contact Wynn and Encore Restaurant and Show Reservations toll-free at: 1-888-320-7110.

our table was the best in the house (I don't know why we got it) but the visual show outside, the attentive staffing, and the creative and solid menu was a real treat for us.

Excellent service, seared sea scallops, caviar sliders. I know everybody is doing pretzel bread now but I can't get enough and theirs does not disappoint. Key lime dessert was a highlight as well.

Has a great view at night. Ask for table facing the Lake of Dreams. It has a light show every half hour.

I expected more from the online photos and when I entered the restaurant it looked more like an upscale coffee shop. I suggest dimming the lights and change the music. The menu prices don't go with hip hop music. We were looking for a romantic place for dinner and this wasn't it.

The food was good, service was slow for a half empty restaurant. This is the second restaurant at the Wynn we have tried and probably won't return.

Seriously, $24 for a glass of chardonnay?

We stayed at the Wynn (which is an amazing hotel) so decided to have a meal at our hotel on our last night of our honeymoon (as had an early flight the next day) and the lakeside looked the best. We were seated outside (which was requested) but were in the corner so could not really see the light shows which take place every half an hour. Ultimately the food was nice but very very expensive. Vegas is expensive but this was a little too much, compared to other fine dining restaurants in Vegas. There was just something a miss on this night. Lots of waiters rushing around, half decent service but nothing to savour. Maybe it was just the location of our table but we were not bowled over. The Wynn is amazing and we are pleased we tried one of the restaurants but maybe this was not the right one to try. Maybe another night, on another table, the experience would of been different.
