The Hoover Dam is exceptional and is a must-see for anyone in the area. It's an architectural and engineering masterpiece. The visitor centre and tour is great too. This review is for the tour specifically, which was fine but for the price a little underwhelming. Firstly the tour bus picked us up about 40 mins late, but they only told us this about 5 mins after the scheduled pick-up time. Given we were the last hotel on the pick-up list, they should have been able to let us know sooner to save hanging around. The 'comdey' side of this was ok but probably the stock sort of jokes you'd get from an enthusiastic tour guide anyway; but it's a matter of personal taste and I was sat at the back of the bus so couldn't hear most of it anyway. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly and gave a good introductory tour to the Dam itself. The tour also includes a meal at the Omelette House which was fine, but fairly basic fare, particularly for vegetarians. Given by the time you get here you're almost back to Vegas it'd probably be better to drop this from the tour to reduce the price, and just get you back to the hotel to make your own lunch arrangements. In all not a bad way of getting to to Dam if you don't have your own transport, but not really a stand out tour in its own right.

Me and my girlfriends had a dam great day at the dam thanks to Trevor and Phil! The entire day went so smoothly - from the on time pickup at our hotel, then the hilarious comedy from Trevor on the way to the dam . At the dam we get a tour from Trevor which was really interesting and we got some amazing photos from the top of the dam . The tour inside the dam was just as interesting, and then on the way back we got more comedy from ‘trez’ and then a delicious tasty lunch at a local restaurant. Such a fun day !

We had Jason and Larry as our guides and driver. Pick up from Treasure Island was on time. Bus was a loaner bus for them and was comfortable but not much leg room for the taller people in our party.
Jason had quite a bit of info to share about Vegas with some history and tips for holidays now as well which was great.
Lunch was part of the tour but would have been happy to skip this part and get back a bit earlier as food was only ok.
Damn itself was very impressive and great to see.

As expected the Grand Canyon was really busy on our arrival as there are dozens of different tours all taking you to the same place. Before we got here (and after a great photo op at the hoover dam) Ralph talked us through how to maximise our time at the rim including to go straight to the skywalk as it would have the longest queues, and to eat at the middle camp outside as it had amazing views. We had about 3.5 hours in total there but it went really quickly so it was great to get the most from it. Lots of rest stops, good banter both out and back. I’d highly recommend this trip
