Description: At La Cave Wine & Food Hideaway you'll savor Chef Billy DeMarco's menu of small-plate items from the sea, farm, oven, garden, grill and butcher, paired with artisanal draught beers and an impressive wine list. La Cave offers three distinct environments-the cellar, the front bar area illuminated from above by a sign proclaiming In Vino Veritas, the rustic yet refined dining room, and a patio that looks out over the elegantly-landscaped Wynn resort pool and gardens.

“Perfect, can't wait to go back.”
Reviewed July 12, 2012

Booked a table, as we know it can get busy here. A little disappointed that we were not told that there was outside seating available. Sat at the bar for a pre-dinner drink. Bar tenders very friendly and made drinks to our taste. We had a lovely table near the main bar at the back, a great spot shame they put a TV on the wall. Tried a couple of flights of wine ($25 - $40 per flight) and had a mix of food. Loved the meat / cheese platter. Not mad keen on the bread that was served with it but all was forgiven when the pizza and salad arrived. Can't wait to eat / drink here again.

“Reasonable priced food at a expensive resort”
Reviewed June 27, 2012

La Cave is a wine bar that has appetizer like food and a great price for an expensive resort like the Wynn. I say appetizers but they are more like full meals. Try the filet cristinis and s'mores Flatbread for dessert! I can not wait to go back!

“Amazing Ambiance and unique food options”
Reviewed June 21, 2012

We were a small group of six, and all enjoy nice wine with great food. I made dining reservations over the phone a day in advance and we must have got the last seating. What a great atmosphere when you walk in, dimly lit and gives the feeling like you are in a modern wine cellar.

A great wine list, while slightly overpriced, had some great options from both Europe and USA. Found the lower priced wines were not marked up as high as the higher end ones, so do keep that in mind. I shared a bottle of the Kenneth Volk Mourvedre, it was excellent and now have to try and track it down to have at home!

Our table shared a few Charcuterie plates with a mix of cheese and meats, and this lovely cherry jelly spread which really added to the flavour of our wine. I also had the Roasted Beet Salad with Goat Cheese and pistachio nuts which was to die for. Lots of flavour and served piping hot in a cast iron dish.

La Cave has earned one of my top places to eat on the strip and will make sure I visit on my next trip back to Vegas. Hopefully I can stay at the Wynn itself as it looked heavenly and a great alternative to the normal Las Vegas strip experience.
