Wanted a seafood restaurant for a special occasion , so after reading reviews picked Mastros. So glad I did, the food was amazing but as a visiting Brit be prepared for the portion size, they are big and definitely have to be shared. We ate in the ` tree house ` and it really was a first class experience , just be prepared for the bill , but so worth it .

First night in Vegas, and what a find!
The dining area is constructed like a nest overlooking some of the finest stores in Vegas. Our server Trista was knowledgable about the menu and offered some fine recommendations for our meal. We enjoyed a delicious Cesar salad as well as a rib eye for hubby and a petite filet mignon for me cooked to perfection. In addition our sides of mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach were the best we have had. The potatoes were so creamy, they melted in our mouths.
For dessert, we were served a white cake coated in sugar dust with vanilla bean ice cream and fresh whipped cream! Still makes my mouth water!
Definitely worth a return visit

If you have been to a Mastro's in another city then you will not be disappointed. If you have never tried Mastro's, you are missing out!!!

Best steak by far in Vegas. Atmosphere is a bit odd as it is in the mall at Aria and is actually open to the mall, so its a bit bright and exposed to all the shops. I ask for a table in the "Tree house", its the section of the restaurant that is covered by a cool tree like covering.

The sides are amazing, the desserts are amazing!! What else can I say.

Wedge salad is my favorite, and I love the scalloped potatoes. New York steak is the bomb. Desserts are massive so be warned, you need 1 for 3 people. If you are looking for a seafood tower to impress, this is it! Lobster, shrimp and more that are the best you have ever tried.

The staff is great, always very attentive, our meal was delayed and the manager sent over a dessert sampler on the house, and we did not even complain or ask for anything. They know how to treat customers like clients and you feel like a VIP.

Not "nouvelle", so don't come if you love 'foam'. Not 'chic' like passing fad, so don't come if you want to be noticed. What Mastro's offers is (of highest order) consistency - consistent quality, consistent service, consistent presentation, consistent preparation and always with the consistent pleasure they display in serving you. You are a valued customer in their culture. And, as an inveterate restaurant goer I appreciate the little things. The best Margharitta I have ever had with the shaker by my side to finish off the extra half drink remaining; a deeply delicious Clam Chowder; superb Crab Cocktail with meaty fingers of Dungeoness Crab; perfectly cooked Chilean Sea Bass 'Oreganata' with a sprinkling of just enough herb bread crumb to coat the fish without effecting the perfection of the grilling and delicacy of the fish; an accurately seared "Black and Blue", 18oz. bone-in Prime Kansas City Strip Steak; creamy and chunky Lobster Mashed Potatoes;, and of course the Butter Cake.

Our server was so professional, remembering us from last year, where we sat and what we ordered. That is rare. This was not only a great meal, but one that stands aside from the rest. This is a matter of attitude, imbued by owners, management and staff. You either have it or you don't. Mastro's has it in spades.

Our server remembered us from last year upon our being seated. Give me a break. That's good. She took our order and attended to our every need.
