I made a quick stop here recently at the Hoover Dam bypass, on my way to driving from Las Vegas to Kingman, AZ. It was worth the stop. There is not enough parking spots, so, make sure you get here early. You will circle and circle, waiting for someone to pull out. Once you get a parking spot, it is worth the wait. There is nice information about the bridge, and the building of it, along your walk up the stairs. Once on the bypass, the view is great! You can take lots of great photos from the bridge. It was very windy when I went, so, make sure you don't ware a hat, or keep it tight on your head! It is amazing engineering marvel that man could build this awesome bridge.

Oh the engineering. What an amazing site and to know how it was built. And you can even walk across it.

We went to the damn for the first time. It's real cool knowing the damn is in Nevada and Arizona. Learned lots of stuff we did not know. If you have not been there, you need to visit when in Vegas, only 40 minute drive.

My son had a blast here. We didn't take a tour and still felt we saw plenty. Was fun being on the state line and seeing the clocks from the two states.

This was a really neat walkway to the bridge and then the bridge itself was remarkable. It is free, so just stop on by and walk on it. You can walk all the way to the Arizona side or just halfway which is what we did.
It was a really pretty view but a little scary at times. You could spend half hour enjoying this or much longer as the walkway has things to read if you wish.
