Owner description: We specialize in small group tours 14 people or less in a Mercedes Sprinter. We go to both the West Rim (Glass Skywalk)and South Rim (Grand Canyon National Park) of the Grand Canyon and give you your own time there. Having done this business for awhile, some do not want the traditional "hold your hand tour" and wish to do as they please. The ride there and back is comfortable in leather reclining seats, USB charging ports and outlets in every row. Avoid the crowded buses, ride in luxury.

I read about this tour and after the reviews we signed up. Got picked up on time from Tom and it took us about 1/2 to get there. Once there Tom gives us walking sticks and he also carries water and snacks for us. The hike was great, we went in November so the weather was perfect. We hike for about 45 minutes all the time Tom is explaining about trees and rocks and just the history of the area. Then we arrive at this huge climbing rock. He brings out the snacks and lets you explore on your own. We were 10 in the group, and some people climbed the mountain. Not a very hard climb, and the scenery was beautiful. You are there for about 1/2 an hour. Tom is constantly talking to us and explaining and answering questions. Then after 1/2 an hour you hike back to the van. On the drive back he takes a scenic route. Please take this tour, you wont be sorry.

This tour is tremendous. Tom is a great guide, and really keeps things fun. I'm not an avid hiker and had a blast. Suggestion: bring a jacket, it'll be colder than you think!

It was our 5th visit to Vegas from the UK and we had always wanted to visit Red Rock Canyon. After reading the reviews on here and visiting the website, we booked the 8am trip for a Thursday morning. Tom was on time and arrived at the pick up point in his clean and comfortable shuttle bus. After being on the website, the tour can have a maximum of 12 people on but we got lucky and there was only one other couple who had booked on which made it seem more of a private tour.

On our way out of Vegas to the desert, Tom put on some traditional music which really got us in the mood and couldn't be more different to the sounds of Vegas! The journey was quick and the scenery was great. Once in the park, we pulled up in a small car park and were asked what kind of trail we would like to do - short and easy, medium or long and challenging. It didn't take us long to decide on long and challenging which was the best decision we could have made! Before setting off on the trail, Tom gave us a backpack per couple, water bottles, sunscreen and walking poles if we felt we needed them.

The trail started off flat and straightforward but it soon became more winding and it wasn't long before we were climbing over boulders, it really felt like you were on an adventure. Tom would stop every so often at areas of interest eg unusual plants, Native American pictographs, unusual rock formations, photo opportunities etc this was also good because it gave you a chance to have a quick break and a sip of water. Around half way through our hike, Tom stopped us for a proper rest and got out snacks for everyone - fruit roll, granola bars and water. This was one of my highlights as the place we had stopped at was so peaceful - there was complete silence which luckily we all appreciated and just sat and enjoyed. It wasn't spoiled by anybody feeling the need to speak and Tom recognized this too. It was at this point that Tom gave us an option to either turn back and walk back towards the bus, or carry on and walk the whole way round the trail. If we walked all the way around the trail it would add an extra hour onto the tour. We didn't mind this at all but we were lucky that we didn't have any need to be back at the strip for anything.

The scenery is nothing short of breathtaking and Tom is a brilliant tour guide with his knowledge and passion shining through the whole time. Me and my partner enjoy walking but being from the north of England, our walking experiences are often around lakes and grassy mountains or forests, with plenty of rain too! To experience Red Rock Canyon was fascinating and awe inspiring.

I'd 100% recommend this trip and it's such good value too. From reading previous reviews, Tom manages to keep the price down by not using hotel concierges to sell his tours through as I believe they would take a cut. You'll have to book it straight through the website.

Thank you Tom for a great tour!

My friend and I were looking to explore Red Rock Canyon but after reviewing the trails we realized it may be a good idea to take a tour - there are so many to choose from. After searching online we found Red Rock Canyon tours and little did we know - we hit the jackpot! Tom and his Red Rock Canyon tour ended up being the absolute highlight of our trip. We were picked up at the Paris hotel promptly and headed into the desert. Tom set the mood immediately playing authentic Native American tunes while providing a overview of what we were about to experience. Once we got there, he was extremely knowledgeable about all things desert- the history, rock formations and vegetation. You can tell how much he loves his job-- it's truly his passion.

We had the best day and would recommend this to anybody looking for a mini-adventure and to get away from the Las Vegas strip.
