Owner description: We specialize in small group tours 14 people or less in a Mercedes Sprinter. We go to both the West Rim (Glass Skywalk)and South Rim (Grand Canyon National Park) of the Grand Canyon and give you your own time there. Having done this business for awhile, some do not want the traditional "hold your hand tour" and wish to do as they please. The ride there and back is comfortable in leather reclining seats, USB charging ports and outlets in every row. Avoid the crowded buses, ride in luxury.

“Fantastic tour and awesome tour guide”
Reviewed February 28, 2013

We chose this tour the morning of the actual tour. I was very pleasantly surprised. We were picked up on time. Tom was extremely personable, pleasant and very knowledgeable of the canyon along with its history. This is one of the few walking tours into Red Rock. Tom loves what he does and it comes through in his interactions with everyone. He makes you appreciate what you are seeing and experiencing. I loved the tour and recommend this tour to everyone. Thank you Tom!

“Wonderful Tour!”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

As a family of four, we had an awesome tour of the Red Rock Canyon with Tom Dziabek. Tom is such a nice man and is really proud and happy to share his knowledge of the Canyon. He picked us up right on time at the North entrance of the Paris Hotel despite a big accident on the Strip that morning. We were able to rock climb and walk some trails. He treated us with hot chocolate, dried fruits and granola bars towards the end of the tour. It was a bit chilly on that day and Tom even had jackets and fleece for us. My daughters were able to take lots of pictures. At one point, Tom stopped the van and we were able to see and take pictures of wild burros. It was nice to get away from the craziness of the Strip and enjoy nature. Money very well spent! I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Vegas. My husband and I did the helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon a few years ago, and I enjoyed the Red Rock Canyon Tour with Tom better (less commercial and nice personal touch!) “Absolutely awsome tour lead by a fantastic guide.”

Your guide for this tour, Tom, seems like a genuinely nice guy who just loves what he does. He loves nature (and people), and has acquired a thorough knowledge of the geography, and the native plants and animals around the Las Vegas area.

You would be hard pressed to find a better tour of the area. The big tour buses that visit this area are restricted to the paved roadway, and their passengers are not allowed to hike the trails. Visitors who choose that option will never see the astounding topography that Tom will share with you, if you elect to join him on a tour that is limited to no more than twelve lucky participants. We had only five on our tour in February 2013. You need to be in reasonably good physical condition for this tour, although Tom will tailor the tour to meet the limitations, the abilities, and interests of the participants. I just turned sixty-five in January; but I'm still in halfway decent condition. The climbing we did was a little bit demanding for me; but we never got into anything that was excessive or really dangerous. We did, however, see a heck of a lot more than anyone sitting on a big bus!

If you have to make the choice between a Grand Canyon tour, and this tour, choose this, especially during busy tourist seasons. We also did a Grand Canyon tour of the West rim of the Grand Canyon, which included a helicopter flight to the bottom of the canyon, and a boat ride on the Colorado River. We thought that it would not be very busy in February. OMG!!! Chinese New Year! By 7:30 a.m. there were over two thousand people waiting for the helicopter rides.

In stark contrast to our experience at the Grand Canyon, Tom had bottled water, a Thermos of hot water to prepare hot tea or hot chocolate, snack bars, dried banana chips, and dried mango for us to snack on, as we admired the beauty of a waterfall that was definitely off the beaten path. BTW: Tom brings along an assortment of jackets, gloves, and knitted hats for those who aren't adequately prepared for the temperature variations you may encounter. The man really cares about his clients, and it shows!

If you're in the Vegas area, and you care anything at all about the beauty of nature, do this tour.

“Great Trip!”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

My wife and I took the tour afternoon tour with Tom in mid-February, 2013 and we had a great time. Tom picked us up on time on the North side of the Paris hotel. He has a very nice van. I think there was about 8 or 10 of us total on the tour. Tom has lots of knowledge of the red rocks and has a passion for his job. It's great way to spend a few hours away from the casinos. Very reasonable price as well. Tom also provides water and snacks.

“Best Part of Vegas!”
Reviewed February 15, 2013

We scheduled this tour before heading to Vegas and I'm so glad we did! After being around so many people and all the smoke, getting out of the city and into nature was awesome. Tom was very imformative and made it very enjoyable for us. You can tell he loves what he does and we appreciated that. It's a must to do when you are traveling to Vegas. We were staying at the Paris so it was very convenient for pick up/drop off. I would love to go back and do a longer hike one day....
