“Quite good Palms buffet; try the chicken curry salad”

We really like this medium-sized buffet at the Palms and think that it is one of the best values. The salad bar is good, but it is easy to miss the excellent chicken curry salad in one of the small bowls on the elevated stands with the prepared salads. Don't know whether it's always there. The asian cuisine section has a lot of well-tended serving dishes that appear to be made in small batches. The carving station includes very tasty salmon in addition to the usual meats. Desserts are run of the mill Vegas offerings. Senior discounts and player points can make it very affordable. Since servers were mentioned in earlier posts, we want to emphasize that whenever we've eaten there, our servers were hard-working and friendly. Ambience is modern and new. Compares well with Orleans, Main Street and Red Rock.

Didn't enjoy the weekday lunch brunch. However, I did enjoy the champagne brunch deal on Sunday. Well priced and Omelet station was good.

When I was there in June 2011 there was this really rude waiter for no apparent reason! I'd go elsewhere in the future!

Well, a new chef is in town and he's got grilled veggies and great new deserts on the buffet - if only he could figure out how to make the asian food tasty without adding a ton of salt. Still tastes like "Frozen American style Asian". Great oysters and crab though on the Friday night seafood buffet. Use your Palms casino card to get $6 off the $24 price (a great deal at $18)

Brunch Buffet was great, huge selection, fresh and not crowded. Eggs, crab legs, prime rib and everything in between. You can get a discount with Palms players card and the champagne glasses were bottomless!
