Loved Human Nature back in the 90's in their pop group heyday so had to check out their Vegas show and it was so worth it.
Although I know they’re great singers and have fantastic voices, I was shocked at how good this show was. So well produced and the guys effortlessly get through almost two hours of singing, dancing and chatting to the audience. They clearly love performing Motown songs and you can tell...they are energised, enthusiastic and the songs work so well with their voices.
Being Australian, I had a bit of a laugh when they played up their Aussie background – “G’day, we’re Human Nature” but they did it really well – not too cheesy. Loved that they also sang their version of “People Get Ready”. I was pleasantly surprised the guys even signed cds and shook hands after the show. Got to say hi but unfortunately didn’t take the camera so no photo op.
One weird thing happened – about 6 Americans sat on our table and were shocked when we said we were Australians. Apparently their cab driver had told them everyone in Australia hates Human Nature. Um, this is totally not true! We told them that Human Nature started out as a pop group/ boy band in Australia and still sell out when they tour and how it’s absolutely awesome that they have had a successful Las Vegas show for 3 years. Good on them for doing something different and breaking America.
