Owner description: The newly revised show for 2014 takes Remembering Red - A Tribute to Red Skelton to a whole new level. Brian's expert portrayal of Red Skelton has brought to life more pantomimes, skits and one man routines that truly capture Red Skelton's persona. Laugh with Clem Kadiddlehopper, giggle with Gertrude and Heathcliffe, feel the love of Freddy the Freeloader. Add a little "Guzzlers Gin" and you'll be Remembering Red - A Tribute to Red Skelton, America's favorite clown prince.

It is so hard to find a decent show without 4 letter words being said. I remember Red Skelton on TV and Brian does an excellent job with this tribute to Red Skelton. Even your grandchildren who don't know Red Skelton would enjoy this show!! We sure did!! I would see it again. It makes you laugh and smile. Brings back fond memories of the good old days. Thank you Brian for a wonderful show!!

If you're of a certain age, you might remember sitting in front of a B&W Zenith and watching the Red Skelton show. This tribute show will bring back a flood of those memories.

The show is in the Westin several blocks east of the strip. A small venue but the right feel for this show. The show is at 2 p.m. which is a nice way to spend the afternoon in Las Vegas in July. Mr. Hoffman greets you at the door and you can sense he's a gentleman right off the bat. I'm betting he's the producer, director, talent agent, booking agent and chief bottle washer of this operation. You can tell he has put his heart into the show and has worked hard to make something worthwhile.

His look and mannerisms are right on target and you'll see you favorite Skelton standards of Klem, Gertrude and Heathcliff, etc. As someone else mentioned, the Pledge of Allegiance is moving and as relevant now as when it was first aired. Mr. Hoffman also adds history and background of Mr. Skelton in the show and it was very interesting. It will also give you a new appreciation for just what kind of man Red Skeleton was. A different breed from most comedians today for sure.

The humor is as silly and slapstick as you remember and suitable for all ages. While probably few people under age 40 will have seen much Red Skelton, several of the skits are as funny today as they were then. Guzzler's Gin is as smoooooth as ever.

Mr. Hoffman is a wonderful host who took extra time with several kids and made them and everyone feel right at home. He was great to talk to after the show as well.

I believe July 18, 2013 would have been Red Skelton's 100th birthday. This tribute is a nice way to remember a man who was such an important part of comedy in a different place and time. I'd definitely recommend taking your parents or grandparents to this show as that is the audience who will best appreciate the performance. Kids will like it too judging by the reaction from the ones in our audience but they won't appreciate the background like those of us who saw the shows and movies many years ago.

Hello Travel with kids 2,

What a nice review, made me feel all warm and fuzzy.
Yes, Red's 100th birthday was July 18th and they honored him in his home town by opening the Red Skelton Museum.

Nice of you to mention bring the kids to the show. I think I have the only family friendly comedy show in Las Vegas and let kids under 12 in free.

Great way for a family to bond and make lasting memories.

Wishing you continues success in all you do,
"Goodnight now and may God bless"

The show was humble ... small venue just East of the Strip on Flamingo ... the performer was very good ... the "pledge of Allegiance" was excellent ... performer interaction before and after the show was a nice touch ... a good way to spend a couple of hours in the afternoon ... at a good price ....
